I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

I can walk in the next room and see my mom. I can decide to jump in the car and go to the beach with the girls. It's unbelievable, truly.

So says Jaycee Dugard in an interview with Diane Sawyer that airs Sunday on ABC's Primetime, as the woman who was kidnapped at the age of 11 and held captive for 18 years speaks out for the first time.

In June, the man who kidnapped and raped Jaycee, Phillip Garrido, was sentenced to 431 years in prison. He's the father of Jaycee's two kids, and she tells Sawyer that she "didn't know" she was in labor prior to giving birth for the first time. Dugard was 14.

"She was beautiful," Jaycee says of her daughter. "I felt like I wasn't alone anymore. [I] had somebody else who was mine. I wasn't alone."

Kari Ann Peniche is back in the news for all the wrong reasons. All the wrong reasons except one, that is.

The Celebrity Rehab star is pregnant... but the identity of the father is unknown and husband Justin Williams has filed for divorce due to this uncertanity.

TMZ has obtained court documents submitted by Williams that ask a judge to order genetic testing to determine if "this is a child of the marriage." The couple got married in February.

Kari Ann made headlines in August 2009 for appearing in a weird naked video with Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart. Her confusing, troubled past also includes domestic abuse at age 20, being crowned Miss Teen USA, posing in Playboy, being engaged to Aaron Carter and entering rehab for cocaine abuse.

In other words: the latest scandal, sadly, fits perfectly into Peniche's poor decision-making pattern.

The third season premiere of Teen Mom may only have earned two points from our critic this week, but it resulted in a record-setting performance for the MTV hit.

The episode attracted 3.65 million viewers, making it the most-watched premiere in franchise history. It was also the number-one telecast on TV among women between the ages of 12-34.

In other words (gulp!): the next generation.

Toddlers & Tiaras is the most despicable show on reality television. And, yes, we know: that's saying a lot!

But many believes the TLC series sunk to a new low this week when it featured eight-year old Brock Ritter as a beauty pageant contestant. He's a boy.

The self-described "diva" hails from Michigan and has a mom, Tori, who says she's simply trying to "nurture" her child.

"I support what his ideas are and what he wants to do because people say you have to open your kids up to opportunities and let them try different things," Tori told TV Guide. "We've both played soccer. We've kicked the ball around with him in the back yard and he has no interest in doing that.

She's off the small screen, but might Oprah Winfrey play a role in big screen affairs next year?

Motion Picture Academy sources tell The Chicago Sun-Times that the former talk show host is in contention to host the 2012 Academy Awards. The event will be broadcast on ABC, which has a close relationship with Oprah, and a deal could even be finagled that would give OWN exclusive rights to some kind of post-Oscars telecast.

Such a deal would be a boon to the struggling network and might be the only reason Oprah would consider the gig.

No matter what direction the Oscars choose, it's a lock the next host will be more entertaining than the last two.

Do you think Oprah should host the show?

In case you haven't heard, Kim Kardashian is getting married.

But don't expect Kourtney Kardashian to follow her sister down the aisle any time soon. In the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clip below, Kourtney takes issues with her mom's suggestion that she tie the knot with Scott Disick.

"When Mason was born, Scott was more of a hot mess, but now he's really turned his life around and been amazing," Kris says. "He's such a great partner to Kourtney. I don't know what Kourtney's reservations are, why she's holding back and being so stubborn."

He may not be able to move magazines, but Justin Bieber knows a thing or two million about selling perfume.

Following the singer's launch of "Someday" at Macy's late last month, Muriel Gonzalez, store executive vice president and general manager, said sales were on track to be the "biggest we've ever had."

In February of last year, Beyoncé set the Macy's record when she debuted "Heat" at the same location and sold $3 million worth of it during the first month on counter.

Bieber's estimates, according to The Hollywood Reporter? $30 million.

That's mind-boggling, but we'll see how the scent performs throughout 2011. In 2002, Jennifer Lopez's "Glow earned over $100 million in its first year on the market, while Britney Spears matched that mark with "Curious" two years later.
