I am a senior staff writer at THG and a big fan of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Robert Pattinson. I believe Kim Kardashian is bad for society, but great for attention, and that The Real Housewives should all be banned from existence.

He was introduced by Ryan Seacrest as the person who "truly set the bar for style and spectacle on this stage."

From there, one of the show's all-time favorites toned down his usual performance style, sat on a stool and gave viewers a stripped-down version of "Aftermath," a song with a vital message: You are not alone.

Starting now, fans can actually visit Lambert's official site and purchase the remixed version of this same single, with proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project. It's a worthwhile cause, sponsored by a talented artist.

Following performances by Adam Lambert and Diddy Dirty Money, the first American Idol finalist received the news he/she was fearful to hear tonight: it was time to go home.

Who would the unlucky contestant be? Ashthon Jones, who sang Diana Ross one more time for the judges in an attempt to stave off elimination. Alas, it wasn't meant to be, as Jennifer Lopez broke the news to the hopeful: "Not this time, baby, I'm sorry. And it was unanimous."

Jones proceeded to break down in tears and was comforted by her fellow finalists as the credits rolled.

Charlie Sheen's Korner. It's a complicated place.

Sometimes, porn stars reside there. Other times, you are by yourself, ranting to an associate over the phone. A phone made by trolls, that is.

But one thing is certain: Chuck Lorre is never invited to hang out there. That guy is a feeble abortion who should never have survived. No, really. Listen to Sheen make that accusation in this kollection of videos from Sheen's Korner:

Thia Megia kept it simple on American Idol last night.

The young singer took to the stage and covered "Smile" on this week's performance show, earning a comparison to Michael Jackson and Adele from Randy Jackson. But Steven Tyler found the rendition "a little pitchy," while Jennifer Lopez said she found the arrangement "interesting."

That's code for: I disliked it.

What did you think of Thia's audition?

Adam Lambert is giving American Idol viewers an extra special reason to tune in to tonight's results show: the former runner-up will perform an acoustic version of the single "Aftermath."

Following this rendition, a remixed version of the song will be available on Adam's official site, with a portion of the proceeds going toward The Trevor Project, a crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ youth.

Listen to the remix here and then decide if it's worth a download:

Says Lambert of the track:

“[“Aftermath”]... was written about finding the courage to be honest with yourself and the people who love you. It’s about facing adversity and taking risks in the name of personal liberation. The song takes on different meanings to different listeners. I hope this song inspires people to be who they truly want to be... And dance!”

He's among the leading candidates to be sent home tonight, but American Idol finalist Paul McDonald has other concerns to consider before this evening's results show.

Following his cover of Ryan Adams' "Come Pick Me Up" last night, the aspiring singer was faced with a number of angry Tweets from viewers who took issue with the Marine Corps Dress Blues jacket he donned on stage.

In response to this fervor, McDonald has Tweeted:

"Just to let everyone know I have nothing but respect for our men and women in the armed forces. Tons of respect for you guys... I've been told my jacket on the show upset some folks ... I wasn't trying to offend anyone. Sorry! I've got nothing but love for you guys!"

The latest issue of Us Weekly states that Christina Aguilera has hit rock bottom.

But, sadly, that actually does not appear the case.

A witness at Osteria Mozza - the same establishment where Christina and Matt Rutler dined/drank prior to their arrest earlier this month - tells the tabloid the couple returned to that restaurant just three days after their wasted run-in with the police. And?

"She acted as if the arrest never happened," the onlooker says. "When their server offered them dessert, they asked for more wine."

Christina in the Car

Pssst, Christina: Maybe someone else should drive.

Tinger and her boyfriend wised up and took a chauffeured limo home, but a friend is still considered:

"She should see the arrest as a wake-up call, but she doesn't. She doesn't think things are that bad."

We already knew that Charlie Sheen was ranting and raving mad over his firing from Two and a Half Men. Turns out, he's also suing mad.

The actor has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Warner Brothers and Chuck Lorre, demanding money from the eight axed Two and a Half Men episodes, as well as payment for the cast and crew and punitive damages.

Charlie Sheen Motivational Poster

Writes attorney Marty Singer, in documents obtained by TMZ:

"Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series, 'Two and a Half Men,' in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre's own conduct."

Singer cites a conspiracy between Lorre and the studio that blames Sheen for the cancellation and says they fired his client when he was sick, which is a violation of state and federal law.

Hey, at least he admits Sheen is sick.

Officials are on high alert in Liverpool at the moment, and it's all due to the presence of Justin Bieber.

The pop icon is trapped in his hotel room in England as we type this because hundreds of screaming girls are outside and police have warned Bieber to remain where he is, as a "possible riot situation" could break out if he walks outside.

Beliebers in Liverpool

Sources actually tell TMZ that cops will arrest Bieber for inciting a riot if he so much as steps on to the balcony.

Over two dozen guards have taken up position outside Justin's hotel, while surrounding roads have been shut down to handle the masses that continue to gather. It's a loud, difficult-to-control mess and we'll keep you apprised of whether or not Bieber ever sees the light of day again.

UPDATE: Bieber has Tweeted: "This is crazy. There are like thousands of people out there. Love everybody but gonna try and get some sleep. Please dont scream. lol."

UPDATE: The cops have allowed Bieber to wave to his fans on the balcony. However, an appearance by their music god has not caused the crowed to disperse just yet.
