We finally get our first good glimpse at the plot in the brand new Elysium trailer. Watch it below:

Matt Damon stars in the futuristic dystopian thriller as Max De Costa, a man desperately in need of a cure for a life-threatening illness.

De Costa lives on an Earth devastated by war and poverty, however.

His only hope is to reach the man-made beacon in the sky, Elysium, a wealthy colony orbiting Earth.

If you were building humanoid robot assassins, would you make them look young and virile, or old and flabby like a deflated basketball, and in the postscript of a political career and highly-publicized divorce scandal?

The latter, right?

Right. That's what I thought.

As such, Arnold Schwarzenegger will be returning to play The Terminator in Terminator 5.

The script is being prepared by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier, and a director is still not attached.

Fast and Furious 6 director Justin Lin had previously been in talks to direct, but ultimately chose that project over T5.

What do you think of a 65 year-old Terminator? How will it be justified in the movie? We'll just have to wait and see.

The first Diana trailer gives us a good look at just how convincing Naomi Watts is as Diana, Princess of Wales. Check it out:

The film follows the beloved princess in her final two years of life.

After her highly-publicized divorce with Prince Charles, Diana became involved in relationships with both Dr. Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed, before dying in a car crash in Paris in 1997.

Oliver Hirschbiegel directs the film, with Stephen Jeffries providing the script. Diana will hit theaters this fall.

The first trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire is here!

It looks super epic (as expected). Take a gander:

The action sequel is based on the Frank Miller graphic novel Xerxes, and follows a naval war between the Persian Empire and the Greek city-states.

Zack Snyder, who directed the first film, co-wrote the sequel and produced, with Noam Murro taking over the directing duties.

Murro, however, follows the Snyder's vision from the first film, which can be seen in the trailer.

Steven Spielberg has predicted a Hollywood implosion.

That sounds awesome! Is it gonna get sucked into the ocean?? Oh! Can the vacuum it creates lead to a vortex of human bodies? How are they gonna do the effects?

No! Stop it Justin Dweeber! You're part of the problem!!!!

Speaking at a USC Film School event, Spielberg and his buddy George Lucas envisioned a near-future where mega-budget action films will cost $25 a ticket while a more "adult" film like Lincoln will cost only $7.

Who better to produce an Elton John biopic than...Elton John?

John's company Rocket Pictures is currently working on a movie about the artist's life called Rocketman.

But here's the best part: Tom Hardy is the frontrunner to star.

Elton John Red Carpet Pic

Who doesn't want to hear Hardy with a Bane breather on, mumbling his way through Pinball Wizard?

FilmDistrict definitely does. The distribution company is near a $10 million dollar deal for the U.S. rights to Rocketman.

Comedy trailers are hard to pull off.

The temptation is to spoil all the jokes, but really, they should just show you how fun the movie looks.

In a World looks fun. Good job, trailer editor!

Watch the In a World trailer below:

Lake Bell, who also wrote and directed, stars as Carol, a voice coach whose father as a famous voiceover guy.

When Carol attempts to break into the world of movie trailer voiceovers herself, she butts up against decades of preconceptions about what those voiceovers should sound like.

If you have either eyeballs or earballs, you know that Apocalyptic, End of the World, Doomsday Raptureporn is all the rage in Hollywood these days.

You’ve got your World War Zs, your Oblivions, your Seeking a Friend For the End of the Worlds.

As such, you want to make your Apocalypse movie stand out. You want some kind of new take. Especially in a comedy.

This is the End Cast

This is the End does not really offer a new take. So as a rapture film, it’s kind of dull. As a “bunch of dudes hanging out” movie, though, it’s expectedly hilarious.

It's weird that in a fast-paced scene set inside a moving armored vehicle, the dialogue sounds like it was recorded inside a Museum of Natural History.

But that's the way action dialogue always sounds: so resonant and forward. How else would lines like "Jackpot!" and "Yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about" land with any emotional significance.

I kid the action movies. But really, who talks like this? See what I mean in the first clip from White House Down:

Tatum stars a John Cale, a man who finds himself in a position to save the President (Foxx) after a paramilitary group attacks the White House.
