The formerly engaged Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have a lot of work to do before they walk down the aisle, says his younger sister, Stephanie Pratt.
"I love them both so much, but I don't think they're ready to get married," she said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Monday. "They're perfect for each other, though, Spencer loves her â€" I've never seen him love someone so much."
But when Seacrest asked if the notoriously on-and-off duo would be together forever, Stephanie Pratt replied, "Stay together? I don't know."
She said the couple's biggest problem is that they get "jealous a lot ... One of them is a little nicer." When Ryan Seacrest asked who is nicer, she replied, "Spencer is the sweeter person." Well, that's saying a lot, isn't it.
Would Montag ever cheat? Stephanie Pratt wouldn't say, but if she did, watch out. "I'd kill her!" Spencer's li'l sis vowed.
Stephanie also opened up about reconciling with Lauren Conrad, which we saw on last week's episode of The Hills. She felt compelled to apologize to LC because the two were in the same computer class at LA's FIDM.
"I was like, 'I'm scared to death of this girl!'" Stephanie Pratt said of LC.
"I knew I had to apologize â€" the class is nine weeks! If I hadn't, it would've been the worst nine weeks of my life!"
She said Spencer Pratt was "genuinely mad" when he found out the two were pals and that she went to Lauren Conrad's 22nd birthday party.
On tonight's episode, he "makes me cry hysterically," Stephanie said.
Still, she insisted, "I don't think I was at fault... I did become friends with Lauren and went to her birthday party. If became friends with Audrina Patridge, I'd go to her birthday party, too!"
Also, Stephanie Pratt strives to bring Lauren and Heidi together. In a future episode, she said she gets them to appear in the same room! OMG!
"My best friend since the seventh grade and I had the biggest falling out, and we just became friends again, so I am optimistic," Stephanie said.
As for Stephanie and her relationship with Lauren Conrad, she said "[we're] good friends. We're gonna be taking another class together."
The New York Post reported today that Nicky Hilton and The Hills' Whitney Port have been hanging out a lot lately because Nicky's boyfriend, David Katzenberg, is friends with some guy named Matt Kaplan - who just started dating Whit!
We haven't seen any photos of Matt Kaplan and Whitney Port (she is known for trying to keep her personal life private and not shown on The Hills), but we have tracked down a picture of Matt with some other girl you might know...
Whitney Port's new man, Matt Kaplan, once dated Ashley Olsen!Â
Looks like some very sloppy seconds, even thirds for Whitney!
Hailing from Encino, Calif., and graduating high school in 2002, the studly Matt Kaplan apparently played quarterback for Columbia University after that.
They suck big time, people, but that school is in the Ivy League, so Matt at least must be sort of smart. On the flip side, though, Lindsay Lohan? Really?
Carrie Underwood isn't crying a river over her split from Chace Crawford.
"We broke up over text, so it's like 'peace out,'" Underwood said at the taping of American Idol's special, Idol Gives Back, in Hollywood Sunday.
"It was completely mutual, we're both fine," she added, saying they "have not talked in a while, but I mean, I don't dislike him. It's no big deal."
Their relationship "just didn't work," Carrie Underwood said, "and we both knew it didn't work and [there are] no hard feelings at all whatsoever."
Dating in the public eye is "difficult ... because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are," she said.
The Gossip Girl star and the American Idol champ just weren't meant to be.
Their split, which was finalized via text message (how mature) was said to happen because of their conflicting schedules, sources have said.
"They couldn't spend time together," a source said. "It was hard."
Indeed. In other news, Chace's sister, Candice Crawford, will be competing for the title of Miss USA this spring! Woo! We hope she takes the title.
As we know, Jamie Lynn Spears is now engaged to baby-daddy Casey Aldridge.
Well, that's all well and good - but her mom, Lynne Spears (whose penchant for digging for gold amongst her famous daughters would make Heather Mills so proud) been busy planning their prenuptial agreement.
According to In Touch Weekly, this does not seem like a big deal to Jamie Lynn Spears, but Lynne insists her daughters' fortunes must be protected.
"The contract is already drawn up and ready to go," a close source told In Touch. "Lynne's not sure marriage is a good idea, but she'll go along with that if that's what Jamie Lynn wants. As long as [Casey Aldridge] signs a contract."
Casey Aldridge and Jamie Lynn Spears, who are expecting their first child, are also engaged - and this isn't the first time Lynne Spears has insisted on a prenup.
Her oldest daughter, Britney Spears, tied the knot with old friend Jason Alexander in 2003 without one, but luckily, that was annulled 55 hours later.
So when Britney was set to marry Kevin Federline in 2004, Lynne made sure it would not happen again. Lynne rushed in with the paperwork before the two legally wed and probably saved Britney tens of millions in the process.
Of course, she's still paying over a million in legal fees.
Troubled star Britney Spears is in secret talks over a comeback world tour - one that could net her $100 million - according to several sources.
The 26-year-old pop singer is said to be "desperate to get back on the road" and leave her recent troubles behind her, says the Showbizspy.
Spears has already begun training for the mega-money shows with "grueling dance sessions" at her home away from home, Millennium Dance Complex.
Her record label, BMG, is confident that she can restore her squeaky-clean image ... or at least move in that direction while on the road.
"Things are looking up for [Britney Spears]," said a source reportedly close to the singer. "She's finally focusing on her career again."
Will the next Britney Spears concert tour feature the current train wreck - or at least something resembling the Britney Spears of yore (above)? Gulp. Wow.
Hiring ex-manager Larry Rudolph again would help, but since her epic disaster of a performance at the MTV VMAs in 2007, Britney has a lot to prove.
"There will be no more on-stage blunders," the source said. "Britney's turned a corner and the world will be amazed with her."
We'll believe it when we see it, but we've been told that Britney Spears is ready to work her way back to the top and is even finally trying to get that pre-baby mama body back into top form. Remember that? See photo above.
Please, Britney, make it happen.
Continuing its immensely popular spring run, The Hills returns with an all-new episode tonight on MTV. Over the weekend, the Boston Globe's Joanna Weiss throughout examined the obsession millions of people have with The Hills...
I still remember the first time I stumbled on The Hills, and how confused I was. It couldn't be scripted, since the dialogue was awful and the characters could barely deliver lines. But it couldn't be a reality show, because the scenes played out too perfectly. Cameras always happened to be rolling when the phone rang or the meaningful text message arrived.
It is, of course, a reality show, but a strangely innovative one.
Lauren Conrad and her friends in Los Angeles might replay scenes they've already lived through, or make carefully timed entrances into rooms so the cameras can get the right angle, but they never give a hint that they're being filmed.
The Hills, a coming-of-age follow-up to MTV's hit Laguna Beach (which also starred Conrad) drops the pretense of the confessional and the sense of manufactured conflict in favor of a new charade: pretending that the cameras aren't there.
As viewers, we're expected to keep up our end of the bargain.
Forget all about Lauren Conrad and new clothing line or her Mercedes, forget the single Heidi Montag recently released. Pretend these are normal, struggling young women, trying to make it in the cutthroat world of L.A.
The Hills' Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port.
One girl, a smart, poised journalism student in Boston - whose life must be very different from LC's - told me she likes the show because she can relate.
She's not the only one.
The Hills is an unmitigated MTV hit, and not just among the college crowd. John McCain, who won an endorsement from Heidi Montag, told Time magazine he never misses the show, and it's hard to tell if he was being facetious.
The first of the current eight-episode run of spring "bonus" installments of The Hills drew 4.8 million viewers, the show's highest ratings to date.
The day after it aired, the episode drew 1.8 million streams from MTV.com.

Here's an absolute stunner. Reports from OK! Magazine that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning a summer wedding are actually not true!
"They are not even engaged," a rep for Nicole Richie said.
OK! Magazine (the same celebrity news publication that recently ran a 2003 picture of Britney Spears with its current cover story about the singer losing weight), reported online about the supposed Richie-Madden wedding.
"Invites for the blessed event are set to go out next week" and "a celebrity party planner is getting everything together for the nuptials," it said.
Nicole Richie will remain an unwed baby mama for the foreseeable future.
Alas, it turns out they are not following the lead of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge, however, and plan to remain unwed parents for now.
Richie and Madden welcomed daughter Harlow Winter Kate in January.
Getting taunted by the celebrity news media sucks, fo' sho' - but retaliating with the most disgusting slurs in the English language? Gosh.
The only person happy about Brandon Davis' rant Thursday night may be Michael Richards, who was just dethroned as king of the offensive tirade.
A member of the celebrity gossip press was definitely laying into Brandon Davis at Foxtail on Thursday night, but Greasy Bear took it to whole 'nother level by calling the African-American photographer a "n!gger."
The pack of celebrity news photographers was stunned by this - and ripped back, calling Davis "Greasy Crotch" as well as a "d**chebag."
Brandon Davis: Possibly the worst human in Hollywood.
An hour later, cameras caught the
pathetic scumbag oil heir fuming outside another club, Villa, where he called a TMZ photographer "a f@ggot."
That was just Thursday.
On Friday evening, the ever-disgusting Brandon Davis showed up at the nightclub / scene of the crime - and was arm-and-arm with some random, unidentified black man who told the paps, "I'm a n!gga man, he likes me."
How anyone would choose to hang out with Greasy Bear for any reason is beyond comprehension to us, but that's by no means anything new.
Ever the coward, Davis refused to say a word. No apologies, nothing. Guess he's the same guy who went on the legendary firecrotch rant.
Watch the video of this HERE.
Makes Jason Davis look downright huggable.
Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated her 17th birthday with fiancé Casey Aldridge shopping at Wal-Mart and having dinner at Ruby Tuesday, People says.
Really. Which is great. In fact, we support whatever makes America's favorite unwed teen mom-to-be and teen baby-daddy happy.
"They both seemed really happy, both in really good moods," a source tells People of the couple's outing near Aldridge's home in Liberty, Miss.
"Jamie Lynn had a big smile on her face."
With Wal-Mart purchases in hand, Spears, who is pregnant with Aldridge's child, took in a quiet dinner with Casey, 18, at the restaurant.
"It was just the two of them," says the source.
"They were like a little adult couple, very low-key."
Jamie Lynn Spears recently has been flashing a big engagement ring from Casey Aldridge. They are expecting their baby this summer.
Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Jamie Lynn's big sis Britney Spears gathered with the rest of the Spears clan for a family dinner in Los Angeles.
Britney, parents Lynne and Jamie and brother Bryan Spears joined a group of about 10 people for an Italian feast at Ristorante Peppone in Brentwood.
"[Britney Spears] was in a great mood, and had dinner with her family and friends," a restaurant source says.
