Last night on The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris toured Spain trying to figure out which of her final four were in for the right reasons and the long haul.

In the end, the cutie finally made the decision Americans (and Canadians) have collectively been waiting for her to make for the past eight weeks.

But first, Jillian worried that Kiptyn Locke was too perfect and out of her league, whether Reid Rosenthal was ready to open up emotionally and start a life with her, or if she will ever come before Ed Swiderski's career. Valid concerns.

In Madrid, Kiptyn Locke revealed that “a proposal seems far off,” but the two sure had fun during a flamenco dance lesson and crashing a moped into a curb.

Smooth, it wasn't, but that was actually appealing for Kiptyn. In the end, Jillian declined to invite him to the Fantasy Suite, despite how much she likes him.

Way to play hard to get, Jill!

THE LAST THREE: Ed Swiderski, Kiptyn Locke and Reid Rosenthal.

Next stop? Seville, for a date with Reid Rosenthal. He was the only guy to fish for details about her other hometown dates, but Jill kept the heat on him, desperate to figure out what he’s feeling since Reid won't open up.

The most he could muster was how he is physically attracted to her and that she smells good, and he likes the direction things are headed. Fantasy Suite? Denied!

It was then Ed Swiderski's turn for a date in Sevilla. He detailed his decision to bolt The Bachelorette, only to come back in a move that wasn't staged whatsoever.

She was eating it up, despite feeling burned by that decision a few weeks back. Ed Swiderski even talked his way into the Suite to "catch up on lost time." OMG.

They'd still be sleeping in their clothes, however. Be strong, J.

Finally, it was Wes' turn ... to say feels comfortable around Spanish people because he had a #1 hit in Chihuahua, Mexico. Kudos to whoever wrote that line.

It only got worse from there. When Jillian asked if he'd move to Vancouver if he won, Wes Hayden awkwardly spilled a beer and changed the subject. So slick.

Jillian hoped things would be better during a fahn-cy dinner, but Wes Hayden pretty much admitted he came on The Bachelorette to help boost his music career.

Jillian Harris and Wes Hayden

Jillian's face says it all as Wes packs his bags.

He even unintentionally (or not) referred to Laurel Kagay as his girlfriend when Jilli grilled him for the 433rd time. Suffice it to say, the Fantasy Suite? No shot.

As the men waited at the rose ceremony, Wes showed his true colors one last time. After Kiptyn said "if it's me, keep it real guys," Wes responded, “If it’s me, know that I’ll be back home ... having lots of sex!” Crickets.

Wes Hayden then did get the boot, to the surprise of no one.

In the limo ride whisking him away, he downed a drink and gloated, “I’m the first guy ever to make the top four on The Bachelorette with a girlfriend” and said of the remaining fellas, “Them boys couldn’t so much as get a nibble in Texas.”

With Wes gone, who will win The Bachelorette?

You may not be there in person, but Michael Jackson's memorial service is set to begin at the Staples Center in L.A. We'll be sharing live updates all afternoon long.

As the all-star lineup including Mariah Carey, John Mayer, Usher and Jennifer Hudson honors the late music icon this afternoon, we'll be posting updates throughout.

Oh, and we'd also like to express our gratitude to our men and women in uniform, along with the police and firefighters nationwide who keep our communities safe 365 days a year. See, Peter King? You can salute these heroes and MJ.

Let the orgy of glorification begin!

Michael Jackson Memorial Service Ticket

1:05 p.m. EST: Running out of things to talk about after 24-hour coverage for a week straight, CNN is debating whether Michael Jackson is considered a part of the black community, even if his children are white. Please, let the event start soon.

1:10 p.m. EST: Diana Ross' son, Evan, arrived with girlfriend Cora Skinner. Random.

1:12 p.m. EST: Smokey Robinson is kicking off the event via sattelite, reading a letter from Ross, one of Jackson's best friends, and to whom he named guardian of his children if his mother, Katherine, was unable to service in that capacity.

1:15 p.m. EST: A "moment of silence" has been going on for like three minutes.

1:19 p.m. EST: Images from around the U.S. of peeps watching on TV are shown.

1:21 p.m. EST: Security appears tight in downtown Los Angeles. CBS says it is on par with what was during the 1984 Olympics. Either way, this is hella boring.

1:42 p.m. EST: Mariah Carey delivers a performance of "I'll Be There," a 1970 #1 hit for the Jackson 5, and that Carey remade into a hit of her own in 1992. Powerful.

1:47 p.m. EST: Queen Latifah pays tribute to Michael by reading a Maya Angelou poem called "We Had Him." She also talked of idolizing Jackson while growing up.

1:50 p.m. EST: Lionel Richie performs "Jesus is Love." Man, can he sing!

1:54 p.m. EST: Berry Gordy, founder of Motown Records, says that Michael Jackson not only raised the bar, he broke it. Berry says Michael was "like a son" to him, and after acknowledging his "sad times" and "questionable decisions," called him the greatest entertainer who ever lived. Classy speech from start to finish.

2:06 p.m. EST: A video tribute to Jackson is broadcast. It's great.

2:13 p.m. EST: Stevie Wonder sings "I Never Dreamed You'd Leave in Summer," as the cameras show the Jackson brothers all wearing one white glove to honor Michael.

2:15 p.m. EST: Kobe Bryant is speaking. We just hit MUTE.

2:17 p.m. EST: Magic Johnson thanks MJ for opening up doors for African-Americans, and tearfully describes meeting the music legend as the best moment of his life.

2:21 p.m. EST: Jennifer Hudson covers Michael's hit "Will You Be There."

2:25 p.m. EST: The Rev. Al Sharpton speaks and credits Michael Jackson with everything from elevating the stature of African-American entertainers to getting Barack Obama elected president. Possibly a tiny bit of a stretch there.

Chris Brown and Teyana Taylor are just friends. We all know being friends can lead to being friends with benefits, but in this case we think they are just friends.

That's the word on the street at least, despite celebrity gossip sites' reports of Teyana (the Rihanna look-alike) being Chris Brown’s "date" to a weekend party.

Reports also suggested that he was "disrespecting" his date by hooking up with Amber Rose, creating a love triangle and potentially enraging Kanye West.

But did Amber Rose and Chris Brown really hook up?

Amber Rose and Chris Brown

Teyana Taylor posted this picture of them on her Twitter page, with the description that they were "cupcakin' it all night, LOL." Whatever that means.

Doesn't sound like the stuff of a jealous girlfriend, right? Moreover, a quite attributed to Amber Rose regarding Brown has surfaced online. She says:

“I know Chris, cause I did the Ludacris and Chris Brown video."

"However, there is nothing romantic between the two of us, whatsoever, and I was definitely not kissing him that night. This is total fabrication by the media."

"But I don’t let that kind of stuff bother me ... I just laugh it off.”

That's probably a good thing. Especially if you are Kanye West's computer. Man, that sucker would have gotten annihilated harder than Rihanna if Brown hit that.

Hayden Panettiere looked simply stunning Monday night on The Late Show with David Letterman, arriving in a lacy black dress with her hair pulled up.

In New York City to promote her new movie I Love You, Beth Cooper, the 19-year-old actress turned heads as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater ...

That's hot stuff. Less so? The misspelled tattoo on her back. Hayden was teased about this by Dave, but took it well, saying that at least the misspelled Italian phrase inked on her says (or is supposed to say) "live without regrets."

That's her mantra - and now it can be applied to living without regrets of her getting a tattoo that's spelled wrong! She also talked a lot about going diving in the Bahamas and her desire to save the whales, as she is often inclined to.

All in all, the Heroes star came across well, as did Letterman, who refrained from saying he wants to see Hayden Panettiere nude (hey, you can't take that for granted after he said he wanted to see the Lauren Conrad sex tape).

Check out Hayden's interview with Dave below ...

In her first interview since her announcement Friday that she was resigning as Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin told the Today show that she did the right thing for her state, as she already knew she wasn't going to seek re-election in 2010.

This ignores the fact that she could simply not run again upon completing of the term the people she claims to care about elected her to serve, of course.

Sarah Palin basically blames being chosen as the Republican V.P. candidate last year, saying "everything changed" that day and that "nothing would be the same for our administration." Because she stopped caring about Alaska, that is.

Once she entered the national spotlight, says Palin, "The choice I had to make was, how am I going to react to the circumstances, the changed conditions?"

HALF-BAKED ALASKA: Palin's explanations for quitting just don't cut it.

"Am I just going to keep plugging away, keep my head down and not going to affect any more change, because every time we try to do something we get hit with an ethics-violation charge or a lawsuit, because that's the political game that's being played?"

She raises a valid point. Why keep "plugging away" at a job you were elected to do, when you just don't give a $h!t anymore? And why put up with jerks accusing you of trivial "ethics violations" when you just wanna do whatever you please?

Public service just isn't worth it.

Nashville Police investigating the shooting deaths of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair and his girlfriend Sahel Kazemi held a press conference last night in which officials described their investigation of events leading up to the killings.

The two were found dead on Saturday, July 4. Here is what police believe happened prior to that, along with the holes they are trying to fill:

  • Sahel Kazemi was pulled over for DUI Thursday morning between 1-1:30 a.m. Steve McNair was a passenger but was allowed to leave the scene via taxi with another person. Kazemi admitted to being high at the time.
  • Thursday night, Sahel Kazemi purchased a semi-automatic pistol. Police will not say who she got it from, but they think this gun killed McNair.
  • Early Saturday morning, McNair met Kazemi at his Nashville condo.
  • At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, a 911 call was made alerting police of the shootings. Police believe the bodies were actually discovered before 1 p.m., and are "concerned" about the time lapse they believe occurred.

Police have stated that Steve McNair was murdered. They are still waiting for ballistics tests and gunshot residue reports to classify Sahel Kazemi's death.

Steve McNair was married to wife Mechelle since 1997, and it is looking like his affair with the 20-year-old Kazemi was not revealed until their deaths.

Their home was listed for sale while he was having an affair, prompting rumors that he was getting a divorce, but he and his wife were just moving.

McNair's realtor said Steve and Mechelle listed their Nashville mansion and were looking to buy another place near a lake. No sign of marital problems or splitting up. The home was set to be sold for $2.9 million, and is still for sale.

Kazemi reportedly told friends that she loved and wanted to marry Steve.

Former Three's Company star Joyce DeWitt recently found herself popped for DUI, landing the 60-year-old in jail and in our famed celebrity mug shots gallery!

Law enforcement sources in El Segundo, Calif., say DeWitt drove past a barricade July 4 - and when a police officer approached her, she smelled like booze.

The actress proceeded to fail field sobriety tests and get arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Joyce DeWitt was freed on $5,000 bail, but not before this instant classic was taken:

THREE TOO MANY? Joyce DeWitt of Three's Company fame may have more than three questions to answer about why she was busted for DUI. Sorry, our jokes are bad.

Britney Spears revives her role as the new Candie's pitchwoman with a new set of sexy, albeit slightly strange and heavily-airbrushed ads for the brand.

Between this and her new Radar music video, we are starting to think Britney Spears has a bit of a horse fetish going on. Wonder what that's all about...

Mugler Shot

What this is supposed to make you want to buy is anyone's guess. Either way, Britney Spears sure is looking good these days. Retouching really does wonders!

Britney recently took over for Hayden Panettiere as the face of the clothing line for 'tweens and teens, which is only available at Kohl's department stores.

These clothes may help girls everywhere send age-inappropriate sexy signals, but at least Bristol Palin is the new Candie's Foundation's "ambassador" to "raise awareness" about teen pregnancy, so that's sure to balance things out nicely.

Whether she is accompanying her husband on official business to Moscow, Russia, or just walking across the White House lawn with daughters Malia and Sasha and dog Bo, Michelle Obama's fashion sense always seems so spot-on.

Here's the First Lady and her husband boarding a presidential aircraft:

Click to enlarge more Michelle Obama photos below. Some are from her trip with Barack to Russia, where she and her daughters brought a real touch of class (and cuteness!) to the Kremlin, while others were taken before the First Family left.

Don't you just love her outfits?

Today at 10 a.m. PST (1 p.m. EST), the Staples Center in Los Angeles will be packed with thousands of people for Michael Jackson's memorial service.

An all-star lineup will be on hand to perform and honor the music icon. Ex-wife Debbie Rowe will be a no-show, though. As will one of his best friends.

Yesterday afternoon, Elizabeth Taylor, 77, Tweeted that she wants nothing to do with this "whoopla." She feels her grief is private and "between us."

More importantly, though, who knew Elizabeth Taylor Twittered?

Taylor Twitter

It makes perfect sense that the acclaimed actress is not going, as the big I memorial is more for Michael's fans, and for his true friends who knew him well and are truly grieving (i.e. not Miley Cyrus), it probably seems a bit over the top.

We'll see how bad it actually becomes. If the "public whoopla" involves a red carpet and a celebrity fashion analysis on Extra tonight, the apocalypse is near.
