Looks like the haters may have been right all along.

According to reports, Usher recently called the police on his soon-to-be ex-wife, accusing Tameka Foster of sneaking onto his property and keying his car.

Tameka Foster and Usher

Law enforcement sources say that when officers arrived at the baby-faced star's crib, Tameka (who now goes by Tameka Raymond) was nowhere in sight.

Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher, but decided there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher's claim that she scratched his ride.

But the drama didn't end there.

Tusher in happier days.

Police sources say Usher called the cops on Tameka again several days later, complaining that Tameka again got onto his property and wouldn't leave.

By the time cops arrived that time, Tameka took off.

Usher filed for divorce back in June ... but it hasn't been finalized just yet. They have two kids, Usher Raymond V, 21 months; and Naviyd, 9 months.

He has since been linked to Grace Miguel.

Tragically, there are countless babies born every day to absentee or unfit parents, and without the proper support system in place to ensure a happy childhood.

Mackynzie Renee Duggar would not be one of those babies.

Gabriel Aubry and Nahla

She's not only the first grandchild of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, of TLC's 18 Kids and Counting fame, but she already has 17 aunts and uncles!

Oh, and she'll be older than her newest aunt or uncle who's on the way, as Jim Bob and Michelle are expecting their 19th child in spring of 2010.

Mackynzie was born at the home of her parents, Joshua (the Duggars' oldest) and his wife Anna, who, according to a friend, "are both so happy."

Josh has been front and center in his wife's first pregnancy – telling her the news that she was pregnant after she was too nervous to look at her own pregnancy test, and reading and singing to his daughter even before she was born.

"I ask Anna what she needs," Josh said.

"I talk to the baby and we involve her in our conversations. When Anna and I are talking to each other, we'll say, 'So, how do you like that, Mackynzie?'"

Although Mackynzie is his first child, Josh knows all about raising babies.

He helped out with younger siblings Jana and John-David, 19; Jill, 18; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 13; Joy-Anna, 11; twins Jedidiah and Jeremiah, 10; Jason, 9; James, 8; Justin, 6; Jackson, 5; Johanna, 3; Jennifer, 2 and Jordyn-Grace, 1.

The newest Duggar's name came, you may have noticed, is a departure from the family tradition of starting them all with J. But the couple is not necessarily committing at this time to "M" being the letter to begin all their children's names.

Mackynzie Duggar's birth will be featured on TLC's 18 Kids and Counting special, cleverly titled First Grandduggar, airing Tuesday, October 13 at 9 p.m.

Talk about a refreshing break from Jon Gosselin news, right?

After David Letterman announced last Thursday that he had been involved in sexual affairs with female staff members, most fans were surprised by his conduct, but nevertheless appreciative of his decision to go public.

Letterman said he had sex with unnamed staffers. One of them, Stephanie Birkitt, was dating Robert Halderman, who stands accused of blackmailing Dave over it.

But Letterman's admission of the sex and extortion scandal was not enough for Regina Lasko, the Late Show host’s wife of six months and partner of two decades.

Lasko, who is also the father of Letterman's son Harry, born in 2004, demanded he apologize a second time on his program Monday, according to news reports.

Dave spoke directly about how "incredibly hurt" Regina was by his behavior while insisted that his affairs "are in the past" and that he committed to fixing this.

Letterman was clearly chastened and humbled by that prospect.

"Let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me," he said.

Regina Lasko: David Letterman's Wife

Can David Letterman salvage his marriage to Regina Lasko?

Dave was praised again for this display of emotion, despite the antics preceding it. But sources say the on-air apology “wasn’t something Dave wanted to do.”

“He wanted the whole thing to blow over,” said a source. “But [Regina Lasko] told him he better make an apology to let everyone know how sorry he was."

The source adds that Regina made Dave go over what he was going to say, and allowed Letterman to make “one or two jokes that weren’t at her expense.”

However it seems Dave didn’t do well enough: “Regina felt like Dave’s humorous take on the apology lessened the sincerity of it, and she’s not happy."

His work is cut out for him, indeed.

Is Twitter going all Heroes on us?

In other words, we're wondering if it has reached the point where it can no longer improve, and will suffer a slow decline occasionally punctuated by cheap stunts to remain relevant (see Hayden Panettiere girl-on-girl scene).

The proverbial jumping of the shark, if you will.

Twitter may be the perfect way to find out what your favorite celebrities - or even Spencer Pratt, for that matter - are eating, doing or thinking RIGHT NOW.

But for stars, is all this "social networking" more trouble than it's worth?

Hung star Jane Adams was caught dining-and-dashing at an L.A. restaurant recently, thanks to her stilted waiter's lightning-quick Twitter update. Bam!

Lindsay Lohan makes a Tweeting mockery of herself almost daily. The Tila Tequilas and Adrianne Currys of the world practically beg for attention on it.

  • So Peaceful
  • El Presidente

The Twitterverse knows few bounds. Is that a good thing?

Heck, even the President of the United States was done in by a Twittering reporter, who circulated his off-camera remark that Kanye West is a jackass.

Then yesterday, Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter page for new beau Liam Hemsworth, a move somewhat emblematic of the fact that it's so overexposed.

What's more, the Federal Trade Commission recently outlined new rules for bloggers (celebrities and commoners alike) to abide by, including having to publicly state if someone's paying you to endorse a product on a blog or social network.

Fortunately for Speidi, that brand is Speidi. But many other celebrities are endorsing other products left and right. How this plays out will be interesting.

Even if they don't follow Miley's lead, some stars should at least tone down the Tweeting a little. After all, those who do not Twitter - Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Zac Efron, etc. - may end up having more staying power.

Gotta leave 'em wanting more, after all.

The celebrity gossip world's collective jaw pretty much hit the floor when it learned that reality star Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were dating.

When they got married after knowing each other for only 32 days, that was even more out of left field. And quite possibly not even legally binding.

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian Together

But still, insane! No one could believe what they were seeing.

We're just talking about ourselves here. So you can imagine Lara Manoukian - Lamar’s supposed girlfriend of seven years - was really shocked!

“My heart is destroyed,” Lara later told a friend, according to Star.

“I treated that fool like a king... from cooking to cleaning his place, anything you can think of, I’ve done for that man.... This dude has lost his mind!”

Lara Manoukian may not have really dated Lamar Odom, and may not even be a real person. But when she says "dude has lost his mind," you can't argue with her there!

While Lara’s heart is broken, her family isn’t shedding any tears over Khloé and Lamar’s September nuptials (follow the link for heartwarming wedding photos).

Her stepfather, Harry Diramarian, tells Star that the L.A. Lakers forward cheated on his stepdaughter repeatedly - long before Khloe Kardashian was in the mix.

"She feels betrayed because they were still a couple when Khloé entered the picture. They were breaking up and getting back together for seven years," he said.

"Lamar would cheat on her with other women.”

Lamar has two kids with ex Liza Morales, 10-year-old daughter Destiny and 7-year-old son Lamar, Jr. He has also been linked to Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson.

Motherhood suits Jennifer Hudson, the American Idol star and Oscar-winner says.

"I love being nurturing and caring because I love to see other people happy," says the Chicago native. "Who better to devote my time to than my own child?"

Jennifer gave birth to her first child, David – named after her fiancé, David Otunga – on August 10. From lullabies to bottle-feedings, she's been doing it all.

On keeping her pregnancy private: "David and I were the only people who knew for a long time. I would forget I was pregnant. I didn’t have any morning sickness, no cravings. I didn’t show until I was seven months so that made it easy."

On recovering from her c-section: "Everybody told me how much it was going to hurt afterward but I think I have a different tolerance for pain than others."

"By that night after I had the baby, I'm like, 'Look, I can’t sit in this bed anymore."

Jennifer Hudson and fiance David Otunga.

On the personality of the younger David Otunga: "He has a lot of personality, like David. He’s a good sleeper. His favorite time to smile now is diaper changes. Or when he spits up on you – he just cracks up like it’s the funniest thing."

"With a pacifier, it’s like he knows, ‘Ain’t nothing come out of here. No, I don’t want that. Where’s the real deal?’ His best friend is that bottle."

On her little guy's future career: "His father is an education fanatic so we definitely want him to go to school, get an education. My mom always said, 'Whatever you want to do, I'll support you as long as you’re happy.' So I will do the same."

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are reunited and it feels so good.

"I am happy in a relationship," he said Thursday on Good Day Philadelphia. "I was single for a minute there, and then we've kind of patched things up."

"She's a very smart girl," he gushed. "She's far smarter than I."

You probably never heard him say that about Jessica Simpson.

Hottest couple ever? Nick and Vanessa are vying for that title.

After nearly three years of dating, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo amicably split in June but remained "good friends." That phase was short-lived.

By late August, they were spotted kissing, making out and dancing together at Los Angeles bar Dime. The PDA parade only got better from there.

Lachey said soon after that rumored hookup that "We're trying to figure things out. I don't pretend to know what the future holds for us, but everything's good now. Vanessa's a good girl, and I care about her a lot."

Audrina Patridge is quite happy and single, thankyouverymuch.

But still, she can’t sit back and watch man-eater Kristin Cavallari steal her on-off boyfriend, Justin Brescia, a.k.a. Justin Bobby, without some bitterness.

On the season premiere of The Hills, new star Kristin flirted with Justin-Bobby, telling off Audrina and pals. Last week, she and J-B hooked up for real.

Audrina believes that Justin and Kristin are “just trying to make a good show, start drama, and trying to hype it up and I understand that,” she said.

“But at the same time, have a heart.”

"It’s hard to sit back and try to film with her and to try to be friends with her when someone is bashing you like that," Audrina Patridge says of Kristin.

Audrina, who is planning on doing her own reality show with Mark Burnett in December, is also turning a new page on the romantic front, leaving both Justin-Bobby and her most recent fling, BMX rider, Corey Bohan, in the dust.

“Corey and I are not together, we actually broke up a few weeks ago,” she said. “I couldn’t give 110 percent like he wanted, so I decided to break it off.”

As for Justin and Kristin's fake relationship, Audrina says she's come to terms with it. We don't expect her to be invited to the fake wedding, though.

Whose side are you on?

It turns out the woman at the center of David Letterman's sex and extortion scandal is not banned from the The Late Show set as some media outlets reported.

"Stephanie Birkitt is on a paid leave of absence. TMZ's reporting that she is banned from the set or the building is incorrect," a rep for Worldwide Pants said.

Letterman in Action

Worldwide Pants is Letterman's production company.

Whatever Birkitt's status, Letterman has escaped any kind of official reprimand so far, remaining on air, cracking jokes at his expense and raking in ratings.

Stephanie Birkitt, 34, worked as David Letterman's former assistant on The Late Show before moving on to bigger and better things as his personal attorney.

Her ex-boyfriend, CBS News producer Robert "Joe" Halderman, was arrested for trying to extort $2 million from Letterman by threatening expose the affair.

Stephanie Birkitt was a recurring comic muse for Letterman.

But it wasn't just money motivating Halderman, according to reports. It was a grudge the star held against him for years, and most of all, it was jealousy.

As recently as August, Halderman saw Letterman and Birkitt passionately kissing in a car in the driveway of the Norwalk, Conn., home he shared with her.

According to a People source, Letterman and Birkitt "were seen making out in the driveway in August," despite her telling Halderman they were just friends.

"He drove her home once a week. The interesting thing was he lives in North Salem, New York. Driving her home to Norwalk wasn't exactly the next town."

Halderman and Birkitt lived together for several years. He reportedly left Dave a package with a copy of her diary and emails elaborating on their hookups.

It was previously believed that their affair had ended in 2003, before the birth of Letterman's son Harry, but these ecent reports seem to suggest otherwise.

Letterman apologized to his staff and his wife, Regina Lasko, who he married in March, on the air Monday, his first day back at work since the alleged plot.

While Jon Gosselin vies for revenge and (and a slew of available young women in the early 20s), estranged wife Kate is trying to win over the public with laughter.

Amid her increasingly bitter war of words with Jon, who is calling her an abusive monster, Kate managed to shoot a sketch for The Jay Leno Show last night.

As part of the "JMZ" series, in which the show mocks the paparazzi (the name is a clear play on TMZ), faux photographers descend on Kate in a parking lot.

Rather than treating them as if they were here douchebag husband, who she wants to keep away from her 24/7, she responds as if they were her eight kids.

After she orders a pap to his room car for disobeying her, one celebrity gossip shooter claims that "she has weird mom powers." It's actually kind of funny.

Of course, if Kate ever displayed a sense of humor instead of acting like the painful, grating human being she is, perhaps things would've gone differently.

Here's the clip of Kate Gosselin's cameo ...
