Popular Irish boy band member Stephen Gately has died at the age of 33.

He had been a huge part of Boyzone, which topped charts and broke sales records in Britain and Ireland during the 1990s, and which recently made a comeback.

Stephen passed away on a holiday in Majorca, Spain. The cause of death is not yet known, but has been reported that he choked on his own vomit after drinking.

Aside from huge success with Boyzone, Stephen was also notable for being the first member of a major boy group to come out as gay, which he did in 1999.

He married long-term partner Andrew Cowles in a civi ceremony in 2006.

Writing that they are “completely devastated” on his website, the other members of the band say, “Stephen was a beautiful person in both body and spirit. He lit up our lives and those of the many friends he had all over the world.”

Joining the mile-high club is a dream to which many aspire.

But it appears that breaking out your o-faces while you're working on board Oprah Winfrey's private jet won't get you the thumbs up from Oprah herself.

As a matter of fact, it'll get your ass fired. Possibly illegally!

A wrongful termination lawsuit has been brought against Oprah Winfrey and her company Harpo Inc., by the mogul's former stewardess Corinne Gehrls.

Gehrls is firing back at allegations that she was boinked by married pilot Terry Pansing during a flight with Winfrey on board the Big O's posh private jet.

She says these claims resulted in their July 7 termination.

Did Oprah can a flight attendant for o-facing on board?

Also named in the Chicago defamation suit are fellow flight attendants Myron Gooch and Kirby Bumpus, who happens to be the daughter of Oprah BFF Gayle King.

The canned stewardess says the two "falsely told Winfrey and Harpo" that she and Pansing "were observed having inappropriate intimate contact inside the plane."

This gives new meaning to the term cockpit, are we right?

Gehrls has vehemently denied the allegations, going so far as to take - and pass - a polygraph test on the advice of her lawyer. Pansing reportedly did the same.

O's ex-employee is seeking $300,000-plus in damages.

Michael Jackson's newest (and final) single "This Is It" began streaming on the late singer's official site and hitting radio airwaves Monday at midnight this morning.

The song's release comes amid much hype and nearly four months after the music icon died on June 25 at age 50, grinding the entertainment world to a halt.

An upbeat R&B track, "This Is It" features Jackson's brothers, with whom he first rose to stardom as a child decades ago, on backing vocals, which is neat.

The lyrics, fittingly for a man who influenced so many fellow artists and millions of fans, include "This is it, here I stand/I'm the light of the world, I feel grand."

The two-disc album This Is It will be available in the U.S. October 27, the day before the release of the Michael Jackson documentary This Is It October 28.

Lady Gaga performed at the Human Rights Campaign's National Dinner Saturday night. Before her speech, the hitmaker and rumored hermaphrodite said that she was upset that homophobia still runs rampant in the music industry.

Gaga, who is proud of her unofficial status as a gay icon, announced she would be marching for equality in the group's Equality March on Washington, D.C.

She went on stage to give a nice speech about the importance of treating all humans the same, before performing a version of John Lennon's "Imagine."

Musically, it was fairly subdued and average, although it was a serious occasion, so a departure from last week's SNL cat fight with Madonna was appropriate.

For the HRC, which also boasted a speech by Barack Obama over the weekend, her moving performance (which included improvised lyrics) spoke volumes.

Kids. They grow up so fast.

It seems like just yesterday that Suri Cruise was born, and we thought she might not have even been real. But she was. And soon became probably one of our favorite celebrity babies of all time. Seriously. She is so cute.

Now, Suri Cruise is almost three-and-a-half years old. It's hard to believe how the time flies. One day, their first fecal matter is immortalized in bronze. The next ...

Sorry. Someone actually did that, though, so we're not crazy. What we were trying to say is she may not be a celebrity baby anymore, but she's no less adorable.

Case in point? This photo from the weekend in Boston, where Tom Cruise is filming his new movie Wichita. This tender mother-daughter moment says everything:

It's always fun to report on celebrity weddings. Today's installment? Christina Hendricks married Geoffrey Arend at Il Buco restaurant in New York on Sunday.

The pair got engaged this year after being introduced through her Mad Men co-star Vincent Kartheiser. Hendricks plays the voluptuous Joan on the hit show.

The happy couple exchanged platinum bands and vows before family and friends in an intimate setting. Sounds like just about the nicest day ever for the two.

Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend are married!

In July, Hendricks said she was planning to wear a Carolina Herrera wedding gown. "It was the first dress I tried on," she said, "and it was magnificent."

Equally wonderful, Hendricks said she loves "everything" about Arend.

"He's considerate, he's thoughtful, he's smart, he takes care of me."

"He's very, very giving."

Lo Bosworth and Lauren Conrad are like best friends for life. But rumors of the former starring in the movie adaptation of the latter's novel are a bit premature.

LC was quoted recently saying that not only has Lo taken acting classes, but that Lo was also her first pick for the flick version of her bestseller L.A. Candy.

L.A. Candy is adapted for film by the producers of the Twilight saga.

"It was more of a joke than anything," Lo explained recently to E!.

"[Lauren Conrad and I] were on the red carpet together and they were like, 'Who do you want to be in the movie?'" she said. "I would love a cameo, but I don't think I could handle a big role. I'm not an actress. A cameo would be really fun."

As for things that are no longer fun anymore? Try The Hills.

"For me, it's turned into more of a job," Lo Bosworth griped. "Before, it was a lot of fun. Now it's like a daily grind where before it was lighthearted and easy."

Reading those cue cards and pretending to care what Stephanie Pratt says can get tedious after awhile, it's true. Her future with the show is now up in the air.

"I haven't totally decided," Lo said of signing up for another season alongside Kristin Cavallari and Speidi. "I have some other projects that I'm working on."

In other Hills news, Kristin was in Las Vegas last night hosting at LAX nightclub after dinner at Company Kitchen and Pub House. No sign of Justin-Bobby.

Kate Gosselin has filed for alimony from estranged husband Jon.

The Insider, which first reported the news, says the petition was filed in court sometime last week, around the same time when Jon tried to halt production on their TLC show and pretended his concern for their kids was the reason.

Whether Jon actually owes alimony will have to be determined.

The two are not officially divorced, and he has alleged that she receives and controls the bulk of their income. On the flip side, he's accused of cleaning her out.

Kate claims that his withdrawals of over $200,000 from their joint bank account - leaving her with only a grand - was not only a d!ck move, but an illegal one.

Meanwhile, Jon has filed papers claiming she did the same.

Both Jon and Kate say the other is stealing and/or hoarding cash.

According to legal documents, Jon claims Kate withdrew over $60,000 from their joint account between July-September 2009. He took only $22,000, he says.

He also claims she took out over $1 million from February 2008-2009 and that plenty of her funds, including book royalties, have not been fully accounted for.

Sources close to Kate Gosselin say that her withdrawals were legal, whereas Jon withdrew up to $230,000 without permission required by their court arbitrator.

Both idiots are due back in court this Tuesday for the latest installment in their long-running soap opera. Hopefully there are some bulletproof vests involved.

Whose side are you on?

Jimmy Kimmel is totally going David Letterman on us. Minus the $2 million extortion scandal and being in a relationship with someone else, that is.

After parting ways with Sarah Silverman, his girlfriend of five years, in March, the late night host rebounded with staff member Molly McNearney.

He has been dating McNearney, a longtime member of his staff on his ABC show, which is apparently still on the air, for several months now.

Kimmel's rep has confirmed the news, too!

While the relationship may draw comparisons to Letterman's recent scandals, an insider says, "during work hours, they keep things professional."

That's good to hear. Now if only Molly McNearney, who has been writing for the show in 2006 could write the guy some funny jokes sometimes.

This is Molly McNearney, we think. It's not entirely clear if this is a picture of her, but that's what our sources tell us. Either way, she's dating Jimmy Kimmel!

Letterman may not have a problem being funny, but his long-running affair with Stephanie Birkitt recently came to light - when he admitted it.

That affair landed him in hot water, both with Birkitt's boyfriend (and Dave's alleged blackmailer) Robert Halderman and his wife Regina Lasko.

Regardless, here's hoping Jimmy and Molly keep making each other happy, and kudos to him for going public to stave off any possible criticism.

Ben Affleck, who Kimmel declared he was f*%king in a hilarious music video directed at then-girlfriend Silverman last year, has no comment.

Looks like the fake relationship Kristin Cavallari and Justin-Bobby have been building on The Hills will heat up even more on next week's episode.

Living up to her scripted reputation as a "man-eater" and a "boyfriend-stealer" on the reality show, Kristin gets all cozy with Justin on the beach.

"C'mere, you sexy bitch," Cavallari seductively tells Justin-Bobby (real name Justin Brescia) from the afar, watching him surfing. "Lookin' good!"

J-B then shows off his awesome "Italy" tattoo across his stomach, prompting Kristin Cavallari to remark that she wants two more tats on her feet.

Absolutely scintillating stuff, we know.

He is unable to entice her into the water, as she says rather kick it and have a glass of wine. Justin notes that it's a little early to start drinking.

Her response? "It's never too early."

Classy babe, she. Here's the clip:
