It’s only been six weeks since we first learned that Jinger Duggar is courting Jeremy Vuolo, but a lot has happened in that time.
For one thing, Jinger and Jeremy got engaged.
No huge surprise there, as things tend to move quickly in Duggar Land.
Even less surprising is the fact that the Jinger and Jeremy’s road to the altar will figure prominently in the second season of Counting On.
In fact, the focus has shifted so prominently to Jinge and Jer that Jill and Jessa’s names have been dropped from the show’s title.
And when exactly will their relationship take center stage?
Why, right off the bat, of course.
The August 23 debut is not-so-subtly entitled "A Courtship Begins" and features the following synopsis:
"Jinger Duggar gets ready to take a big step with a special someone!"
Unless she buys a parakeet or something, we’re guessing it’s safe to say that Jinger begins her courtship with Vuolo in this episode.
For the uninitiated, "courtship," as the Duggars so often remind us, is different from dating, in that it comes with a whole bunch of rules and the ultimate goal is to make babies.
With dating, of course, the ultimate goal is to practice making babies in a way that doesn’t result in any actual offspring.
As folks who follow the family on social media have gleefully pointed out, Jinger and Jeremy have already broken the rules of courtship on several occasions.
