It isn’t just celebrity women who are pressured to maintain certain expectations of weight and appearance. Just ask Rob Kardashian.

The media has been critical of Rob Kardashian’s weight gain since he gained over 100 pounds. Yes, he’s put on at least that much.

It is unkind of the media to criticize his weight. But the reality is, the star’s health – and weight is a big part of that – is a major concern.

However, there is good news! Rob Kardashian is trying to get fit! 

There was speculation that Rob was going to have gastric bypass surgery. But it looks like the reality star is taking the old-fashioned route: exercise.

And his new workout buddy is none other than his sister, Kim!

According to Kim Kardashian’s Tuesday morning tweet, Kim and Rob are workout buddies: “Rise & Grind! Workout time!!!!! With @robkardashian.”

We are happy to see that Rob is making good choices for his health!  Kim’s brother secluded himself over the past few years after gaining weight.

Yesterday, Rob even posted an Instagram picture of his sister Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Tyga after running into them during his “morning workout.”

Plus, earlier this month, Kim tweeted that after the long-estranged Rob and Kim reconciled, she and her brother “went on the hardest hike ever.”

So it looks like Rob has a good support system as he embarks on his journey; Kim is supportive, but that doesn’t mean she won’t employ tough love.

In past episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim called for just that response after her family’s failed weight loss interventions.

“At some point you just have to give it up. We all make his life so easy. ‘Okay, we’ll drive you around with a chauffeur so no one has to look at you,'” she said 

“We’re not gonna cater to him anymore, but it has to be all of us. … He’s still competent to where he can ask for help if he needs it.”
