Puddle of Mudd’s frontman Wes Scantlin is in a real pile of sh*t.
The band’s singer was arrested early Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy in southern Minnesota, according to The Associated Press.
Scantlin, 43, allegedly led police on a car chase down a rural highway, reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour.
Once he was finally apprehended, police administered a preliminary breathalyzer test. Scantlin’s blood-alcohol level was a shocking 0.31. That’s four times the legal limit!
The singer appeared in court on Monday, facing felony charges of feeling police in a motor vehicle, refusing to submit to a chemical test, and DWI.
He was later released on bail.
In 2013, Scantlin was arrested for abusing his ex-wife. Earlier this year, he was arrested for entering an unauthorized area and riding on a luggage carousel in the Denver airport.
And in April, he was once again arrested, this time at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, for disorderly conduct.
After a recent concert in Wilmington, North Carolina, fans suspected that Scantlin has a major drug problem.
During his concert, he kept going off on tangents and doing his own act, even upsetting his fellow band members. The show was so off-putting most of the crowd left.
