Kourtney Kardashian is now looking to share custody of her three children with Scott Disick, after initially seeking primary control of the kids.
Why the abrupt change of heart from the reality star?
It’s quite an about face from last week, which saw Kourtney seeking sole custody. Now not only is she willing to share with Scott, it’s by choice.
Of course, it would have to be under the circumstances.
They were never married, first off, and moreover, Scott’s track record is as bad as any celebrity not named Charlie Sheen or Jenelle Evans.
Yet Kourt believes 5-year-old Mason, 3-year-old Penelope and 7-month-old Reign need to have a real, meaningful relationship with Disick.
As such, she wants a formal custody agreement which not only gives them joint custody, but a substantial amount of time with the children.
Kourtney made headlines by visiting high-profile divorce lawyer Laura Wasser last Monday, but Wasser usually pushes for joint custody.
As for Scott Disick getting child support, that rumor looks to be unsubstantiated – although she could be forced to pay it to him, theoretically.
She won’t, though, because he doesn’t need it.
Whatever you think of him, he’s raking it in through various ventures, including club appearances, various businesses, sponsored posts, etc.
He also makes big money from Keeping Up with the Kardashians (whether or not he’s on camera) and inherited his late parents’ estate.
As for the duo reconciling, don’t bet on it, but when Scott broke his silence on the split last week, he seemed pretty somber and subdued.
