Earlier this year, Giuliana Rancic heated up Instagram with an impressive bikini photo.

Now, the television personality has heated up the entire World Wide Web with some unexpected news:

She is leaving her position as nightly co-anchor on E! News, effective on August 10.

"For more than a decade, I was fortunate enough to play a role in the success of E! News and will miss my family at the show," Rancic said via statement.

"At the same time, I am excited to not only continue as host of two major franchises on E! but also executive produce the aspirational new show Rich in Faith for Oxygen as well as take my wine and clothing lines to the next level."

Indeed, Rancic will remain a panelist on Fashion Police and continue on as co-host of E!’s Live From the Red Carpet.

Giuliana, of course, has faced some criticism over the past few months, most of which stems from a critical comment she made concerning Zendaya at the Academy Awards.

Due to Zendaya’s dreadlocks, Rancic said in February that it appeared as if the 18-year old smelled "like patchouli oil… or maybe weed."

She apologized numerous times in the days and weeks following this scandal.

Concluded Giuliana in her statement announcing this latest decision:

"This is such a thrilling time for me and I thank the gang at E! for understanding my desire to embark on this next chapter in my life."
