A day later, Cara Delevingne doesn’t feel as if she has anything to apologize for.

As previously detailed and as posted below, the model/actress engaged in the most awkward morning show interview in recent memory on Tuesday, being cut off in the end and told to "take a nap" by one of the anchors.

The Good Morning Sacramento Q&A got off to a bad start after the host asked whether Delevingne read the book version of "Paper Towns," on which her new film is based.

Delevingne responded in a sarcastic manner to this softball question… and things devolved from there.

"Some people just don’t understand sarcasm or the British sense of humour," Delevingne has now Tweeted in her own defense.

But it sounds like she need not even bother doing so. Many other stars are already on Cara’s side.

Replied Zach Braff to Delevingne’s Tweet: “Or how it’s condescending to ask an actress if she’s read the book.”

Boy George jumped on by saying he totally gets British sarcasm,  while Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams added:

“Good for you @Caradelevingne. Ask a lazy question, get a lazy answer."
