Beyonce has been sharing (some might say "oversharing") just about everything with her fans lately
Last week, Beyonce and Jay Z had sex, and she posted the photos to prove it. This week, Queen Bey hyped her latest Good Morning America appearance like it was a concert at Madison Square Garden, and many fans assumed she was about to drop some big news.
A teaser for the interview featured dramatic narration declaring that "Beyonce has something amazing she wants you to know."
Bey herself promised she’d reveal something that she "has to share with everybody."
The Bey Hive was buzzing with anticipation, expecting the announcement of a surprise album or some sort of awesome collaboration.
What they got was yet another lame promotion for Beyonce’s food delivery service.
"I have struggled since a young age with diets," said Mrs. Carter. "Finding something that actually works, that actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me."
Clearly, someone is desperate to ensure that their latest business venture doesn’t flop as colossally as Tidal.
The Twitter reaction was swift and furious:
- "They had the dramatic music in the Beyonce/GMA interview commercial and she’s announcing that she only eats grass lmao"
- "This Beyonce announcement had me dead. I almost made it school an hour late because I thought this announcement would’ve been big"
- "What a joke. Beyonce uses Good Morning America to announce she’s vegan. Yikes."
Yes, it’s the rare occasion in which Beyonce has let us down. Fortunately, that awesome Beyonce-Duck Tales mashup is still making the rounds online, so we forgive her.
