Ryan Reynolds, wearing his red and black Deadpool costume, made a little boy’s wish come true this week.

Tony Acevedo is battling cancer and wanted to meet Deadpool. So Reynolds made it happen.

Reynolds stated on Instagram: "Tony Acevedo asked Make A Wish Foundation if he could meet Deadpool.”

The two are pictured together in heartwarming and heartbreaking Instagram posts. In one, Tony is wearing the Deadpool mask and looking at Reynolds.

In the other, Reynolds gives Tony an endearing hug.

"I wasn’t expecting him to sneak the mask, put on the gloves, smile…and then beat Deadpool about the face, arms and jugular with blazing speed," Reynolds said.

"Tony’s next fight is with Hodgkin’s Disease. Hodgkin’s Disease best be wearing its brown pants. Huge thanks to @makeawishamerica.”

Hodgkin’s disease, also referred to as Hodgkin’s lymphoma, is a cancer of lymph tissue. Thankfully, it is one of the most curable cancers.

However, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, it rarely affects children.

The Deadpool film will be released February 12, 2016.

Ryan Reynolds has always been a heartthrob celeb, but this is just too much.
