Think Jared Leto gave us our first photo at his version of The Joker on Snapchat last week? Think again.

David Ayer, director of the upcoming Suicide Squad movie, has truly teased what the Oscar winning-actor will look like as the iconic DC villain via a brand new Twitter photo.

And it’s all kinds of crazy awesome.

The image of Leto (which Ayer unveiled late Friday evening to celebrate the Joker’s 75th anniversary) depicts a very different baddie from the one portrayed in Batman stories of the past.

Gone is the suit-clad Jack Nicholson version. Gone is the shaggy, disheveled appearance of Heath Ledger’s take.

In their place, this Joker comes across as especially maniacal, rocking some major tattoos, chrome teeth and a slicked back, bright green tuft of hair.

He’s also wearing a purple glove.

"The Suicide Squad wishes you a Happy Anniversary Mr. J! #Joker75 #SuicideSquad @WarnerBrosEnt @DCComics," Ayer wrote as a caption.

So… what do you think? Are you excited to see the large-penised Leto in this beloved role?
