As always, jealousy ruled the day on Dance Moms.

Holly Frazier’s daughter Nia’s debut music video, “Star in Your Own Life,” was also about to drop, and the rest of the ALDC moms weren’t as excited.

“It is not every day that you’re 13-year-old and you’re releasing a music video,” Holly told guests at a premiere party. “We’re so fortunate and blessed.”

Being that the party for Nia took place the same day as a big dance convention, the only ALDC team member to show up was newbie JoJo Siwa.

Abby Lee Miller herself made a cameo at the end, telling her young protege, “I just want to congratulate Nia and her family for a job well done."

“Nia, I’m going to tell you something I tell all my students who are moving into the professional world," Abby added, "this is just the beginning!”

Nia was grateful and appreciative of the support, saying, “I’m really happy Abby came to support my video… Her coming makes me feel really good."

Abby wasn’t entirely a fan of the video, however.

The project, helmed by Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day, was “dynamic and slick” but left Miller “little disappointed” at the same time. Oh well.

This is Abby. We’ve heard far worse critiques.

Specifically, she felt it was inauthentic and that Nia Frazier was being manipulated by producers rather than portraying her real self in the project.

A young girl pushed hard to do the bidding of fame-hungry bullies in the entertainment industry? Who has ever heard of such a ridiculous concept.

How did the team do in its return to Pittsburgh?
