If Bethenny Frankel wants her Tribeca loft back, she might have to concede to new child support arrangements. And something tells me this isn’t going to be pretty.
Hoppy is requesting more child support for their 4 year-old daughter, Bryn.
According to a Radar Online source, “It makes Bethenny absolutely crazy that she has to give Jason a dime.”
“But since he’s been unable to find a steady job since the divorce, Jason plans on going back to court to ask for more money. Not a huge increase, but New York City is very expensive,” the source adds.
Frankel, star of The Real Housewives of New York City, is already paying Hoppy $10,000 a month in child support. But Hoppy is going to court to ask for more.
The current terms of their prenup state Hoppy “wasn’t entitled to any spousal support, but does get $10,000 per month for child support,” a source claims.
The couple has stalled their divorce for numerous reasons over the last two years. The main reason being that Bethenny Frankel refuses to settle the divorce until Hoppy moves out of the apartment.
“Even though Bethenny has finally moved into another apartment, she wants the Tribeca loft sold, and doesn’t want Jason to be given the apartment as part of the divorce settlement,” a source says.
The source continues, “Bethenny initially sought sole and physical custody of Bryn because she didn’t want to pay Jason any money in child support.”
“There was no valid reason for Bethenny and Jason to have joint custody, which was a bitter pill for her to finally swallow.”
