Prince is a pop star, a musical virtuoso, and notoriously one of the kinkiest dudes alive. But the Purple One draws the line at copyright infringement.

Even when it’s being perpetrated by someone as sexy as model, Abigail Ratchford!

Ratchford’s Instagram account is one of the sexiest places on the web, and for a while it was a lot sexier, as she posted a Fifty Shades style striptease set to Prince’s hit song, "Get Off."

It received 30,000 likes before Prince made the model take it down.

The song itself was a huge hit in the 90’s and famously espoused the credo: "Let a woman be a woman and a man be a man." Well, it looks like Prince isn’t about to let Abigail Ratchford be a woman to HIS song.

We most recently saw Prince in the background at the Grammys, giving the Best Album award to Beck, just before Kanye came on stage and pissed everybody off.

Before that, he presented John Legend and Common with the best Original Song Award at the Golden Globes. Prince seems destined to present awards these days rather than receive them.

So it’s unfortunate when one of his songs is dragged back into relevancy by a mega sexy super vixen like Ratchford, that he doesn’t show a little more appreciation.

Prince has had some ups and downs with the ladies in his time, and god knows the guy gets around. But something about this just seems … well … prude.

Abigail has vowed to repost the video with another song. So, we’ll wait and see … but let’s quietly mourn for the lost sexiness of the original.
