No matter what city you’re in, Comic Con is filled with talented cosplayers who impressively transform themselves into dead ringers for their favorite characters.

Usually, they’re dressed up like superheroes or anime alter egos, but a New Yorker named Robert Franzese has become Internet-famous by bringing to life everyone’s favorite Quahog resident.

Dubbed the "real life Peter Griffin" by fans, Franzese has been wowing convention-goers with a stunning impression that must be seen to be believed:

As you can see, there’s more to Franzese’s embodiment of the character than simply "being fat and wearing green pants."

The above video, uploaded just two days ago, is already approaching 4 million views and Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane retweeted the clip.

Fans are clamoring for Franzese to be featured on the show as a live-action Peter, and it’s clearly a dream come true for the gifted FG fan:

"Impressions just come naturally to me," says Franzese. "So I slapped together some stuff that I had and I was like, ‘Oh, great – Peter Griffin.’"

It’s our favorite nasally impersonation since Nasim Pedrad perfectly mimicked Kim Kardashian on SNL, and Franzese is loving the recognition:

"People are pulling out phones like I’m freaking Brad Pitt," he recently told CNN. "It makes me feel like a million bucks. It’s the reactions I get out of what I do that gives the joy of what I do."

Now all the world needs a perfect Meg Griffin impersonator. Nah, on second thought, screw Meg. She sucks.
