The playoffs are upon us as of The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 12, which meant little margin for error, and no more team support for the remaining contestants.
That’s right, the teams were no more on The Biggest Loser Season 16 Episode 12, leaving the aspiring losers to go into battle alone for the first time this fall.
The tears flowed, but not merely because they pushed themselves to the brink. The trainers surprised the stars with videos from home, from their loved ones.
If you you watch The Biggest Loser online, you know this is typically the emotional high point of the season, and last night was no different. No different.
As for the results?
The challenge this week was an obstacle course, and the prize up for the taking was immunity. No sappiness there, just huge value. Win it and keep fighting.
Who won it, and who ended up going home after receiving the votes of the rest of the stars who weren’t safe? At the weigh in, here’s how they performed …
- Lori: 243-3 = 240 – IMMUNITY
- Woody: 315-9 = 306 (2.86%)
- JJ: 306-6 = 300 (1.96%)
- Sonya: 197-8 = 189 (4.06%)
- Jordan: 242-9 = 233 (3.72%)
- Toma: 246-11 = 235 (4.47%)
- Rob: 365-15 = 350 (4.11%)
It’s a good thing for Lori that she won the challenge, as she would be flirting with disaster otherwise. As for the vote, it came down to just two contestants.
Woody and JJ are below the yellow line, and the gang promptly votes for JJ to go home. Although Bob soon greets him and tells him it’s not over … yet.
The show ends with a tribute to season seven contestant Damien Gurganious, who died last month at the age of 38. Our thoughts are with his family.
