Yesterday, Brittany Musick spoke publicly about her alleged affair with Jeremy Calvert, responding to tweets from Teen Mom fans who had accused her of being a “homewrecker.”

The West Virginia blonde denied destroying Leah Messer’s marriage, which appears to be on the brink of collapsed, if not already collapsed altogether.

Now it seems, Messer’s supporters weren’t the only ones reaching out to Musick, as a source claims that Leah herself messaged Brittany on Twitter shortly after she found out about the affair.

“Leah direct messaged Brittany on Twitter to find out about the situation on Thursday night,” says the insider.

Considering that Leah was responding to flirtatious text messages from Calvert to Musick that were leaked online, you might think she would’ve lashed out at Brittany.

It turns out her reaction was much more level-headed than we would’ve expected:

“Leah actually apologized for Jeremy’s behavior,” says the source, adding that Messer and Brittany Musick’s interactions were “cordial.”

Though they’re legally still married, and hasn’t confirmed they’ve split, Leah and Jeremy have been living separate lives for several weeks now.

As we reported, Calvert moved out on Messer back in October after publicly accusing her of cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd.

If the couple is unable to patch things up, it’ll be the second divorce for 22-year-old Leah, who has three little girls between her two husbands.

As always, you can watch Teen Mom 2 online to see Jeremy and Leah in happier times, and see the evidence of his alleged text flirting in the gallery below.
