The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have traveled the globe and met with some of the world’s most respected dignitaries.

Yes, that’s video evidence that the Carters and the Windsors had their first meet-and-greet.

Sadly, we may never find out if Beyonce and Kate Middleton talked about designer shoes or the global debt crisis, but just knowing that they talked at all is pretty cool.

Will and Kate’s trip to NYC seems to be turning out as one of their more memorable official visits.

Yesterday, Will took a day trip to D.C. to meet with President Obama, while Kate stopped by a children’s center in Harlem to help wrap Christmas presents for disadvantaged kids.

The royal couple will reportedly remain in New York through Wednesday.
