As you’ve lively heard, the cyber-terrorists have emerged victorious and Sony has pulled The Interview from theaters, per the group’s demands.

It’s a sad day for freedom of expression advocates, fans of comedy, people named Seth Rogen…Hell, it’s a bummer for just about everyone who’s not James Franco.

Franco took to Instagram last night (usually a formula for trouble) to wish his fans a happy Hannukah and show off his latest party pics:

Yes, that’s Franco and Lady Gaga getting close on the left. And there’s James with Gaga, Courtney Love, and MoMA curator Klaus Biesenbach at what might be the pretentious holiday party in history.

Is this the end of Franco’s obsession with Lana Del Rey? Has he moved on to Gaga? Or Courtney?!

Either way, it’s pretty plain to see that dude’s not too broken up about the fact that The Interview will never hit theaters. And that’s a good thing, we suppose. It’s not like anything can be done about it at this point.

Still, can you imagine toiling for months on a project, only to receive nothing in the way of awards or public adulation once it’s finished?

That would be like…Holy crap, it would be like having a regular job!!! Clearly, James hasn’t let the horror of his situation sink in, or he’d be crying on the floor.
