Suffice it to say, New Girl Season 4 Episode 7 teetered on the brink of absurdity and then went over the edge as the show often does, in hilarious fashion.
Ian is so turned off by the revelation that Jess lives with her former partner that he wants to shut the relationship down immediately, so our girl panics.
Nick is really gay, she says, so in that sense it is totally not weird that they live together. Then she has to convince Nick to play along on the fly of course.
He’s down with it, although he’s the world’s worst keeper of secrets, and true to form, brings a woman to the loft and threatens to "out" Jess in epic fashion.
As for CeCe, she wants breast reduction surgery so that down the line, she does not have to endure back pain that other women in her family go through.
Schmidt, predictably, is crushed by the idea of the perfect female body being altered one iota, and in trying to dissuade her, goes through the stages of grief.
Meanwhile, Winston tries to get a date with the new neighbors, and a game Coach tries to help his boy out … until Schmidt ends up ruining it of course.
How did he do that? Are Ian and Jess done for after his con gone awry? And did CeCe go through with the operation that will forever crush Schmidt’s dreams?
