So it was all peaches, cream and butterflies for the couple, right? Not quite.

It all starts when Luke’s tour returns to Nashville. He’s excited to see Rayna after her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, who touches down in time to join Maddie, Daphne, Sage and Colt for breakfast.

Luke is all about leaving the kids with the nanny so the couple can get it on, but Rayna has some bad news: she’s gonna have a Rolling Stone reporter in town soon for a cover story.

They can still talk wedding stuff and have a lot of sex… but they won’t have all that much privacy over the next few days.

Rayna accidentally makes the reporter’s life by exposing him to a pregnant and angry Juliette. Yes, she unfortunately tells her frenemy, he’ll probably write you as a “hormonal headcase.”

The reporter also witnesses a fight between Rayna and Luke and Maddie making out with Colt. So Rayna asks the journalist to forget all of this in exchange for “the story of Deacon Claybourne.” He likes that proposal.

ELSEWHERE: In the two months that have passed since the previous episode, Gunnar and Kiley seemingly told Micah he’s the former’s son. Much to Zoey’s dismay, the son is cool with it, spending a lot of time at his dad’s home.

But when Kiley tells her long-distance boyfriend about her kid, he dumps her. She responds by packing up her car and leaving Micah with her dad, telling Gunnar the child is better off there.

Will and Layla, meanwhile, appear to be doing okay. He attends her live show. She thanks him for giving her songwriting material. However, they attend the premiere of their reality series, she gets upset over how Will is portrayed as a hunk… while she’s portrayed sort of like Jessica Simpson.

The ratings are strong and they may be forced to do another season.

Finally, Avery remains true to his word and is there for the baby. But he wants nothing to do with Juliette. However, after a pep talk from Emily, Avery shows up to Juliette’s first in-home practice session. They feel the baby kick together.

Could there be hope for these two after all?
