Tamra Barney hasn’t seen her estranged daughter in the better part of a year, her ex-husband Simon charges, calling the reality star inept and negligent.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star has always maintained that she’s a good mother to the three children she shares with Simon Barney.

A good mother, she says, who is simply going through a really tough divorce.

Simon sees it as much more worse, however, alleging that Tamra has seen their teenage daughter only four times in the last year and none in the last eight months.

She caused her “anxiety” and stomach cramping when she did, no less.

Simon is seeking sole custody of Sidney, 15, Spencer, 14, and Sophia, 8, and for Tamra to see them “every other weekend on Friday from 5 p.m. to Sunday at 5:00 p.m.”

That’s it. Oh, and that doesn’t even include the oldest. He’s asked the courts to allow Sidney to see her at her own “discretion,” making “the choice to see [Tamra].”

This is, in the words of Simon’s new girlfriend, a f–king ugly custody battle.

“Sidney made the decision to leave her mother’s home to stay with me because she felt extreme anxiety at her mother’s home,” Simon says in court docs.

“Sidney has been facing difficulties in public and in school because of [Tamra’s] public portrayal on The Real Housewives of Orange County,” he adds.

The three children, you’ve probably noticed, cannot be seen when you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, her the court’s orders.

This has helped the kids, Simon claims.

“Since Sidney has lived with me full-time, she has been much happier, she has had less anxiety, and she seems to be adapting positively to the change,” he claims.

“Sidney has shown great progress both socially and academically. She is much happier, and I have noticed a significant difference in Sidney’s growth and mood.”

“In the past few months,” he writes in the documents, “I have noticed a series of questionable decisions and actions from [Tamra] relating to our children.”

Spencer and Sophia, he alleges, “have had their health compromised, their hygiene compromised, and ultimately their general livelihood compromised.”

Because of her Bravo commitments, “the children have been late to school, have been left with others to care for them, and have been neglected.”

“On the contrary, I have changed jobs so that I travel less and have the ability to be more flexible … I changed my position primarily so that our children where my top priority.”

Barney is asking the judge to award custody based on his demands, and for his ex to pay court costs. Based on Tamra Barney’s salary, he says she’s good for it.
