A new Drake song called "How About Now" leaked on Soundcloud over the weekend, and while it was quickly taken down, it continues to generate buzz. Why?

In versions still floating around the Internet in the ensuing days, many fans believe Nicki Minaj can be heard at the beginning of the Drizzy trizzack.

The origins of "How About Now" are totally unclear, so it may or may not be part of the Canadian rapper’s upcoming album, Views From The Six.

That mystery no doubt adds to the new song’s intrigue.

A 17-year-old boy from Georgia posted the song, claiming it was an exclusive track off of that album. If so, he did not explain how he got ahold of it.

Some fans argued that it might be an older, Nothing Was The Same-era Drake cut that simply never saw the light of day for one reason or another.

In any case, the song appears to be about a girl who didn’t appreciate how good she had it until Drake was gone. Hmm. Rihanna reference, perhaps?

Or Jhonni Blaze?! Probably not. But the lyrics include:

“I used to always try to burn you CDs of my new sh!t. You be like, “Who’s this?” I be like, “Me, Girl” You be like, “Oh word, true shit?” Then ask if we could listen to Ludacris.”

Deep thoughts right there. Very deep thoughts.
