In March of last year, Ashley Greene’s condo caught fire, destroying the unit and killing one of her dogs.

Greene was already sued over the fire by several other tenants, and after an investigation, the cause of the blaze was revealed to be a candle that had fallen onto a sofa.

Still, more than 18 months after the fire, Ashley is still unable to put the incident behind her, as she’s being sued yet again – this time by building manager, Adiran Mayorga.

Mayorga claims that he suffered permanent respiratory damage as a result of the fire. His suit alleges that the fire was caused by negligence and recklessness on the part of Ashley and her boyfriend, and that a crack pipe was found in her apartment.

There were reports that Greene was dating Ryan Phillippe at the time, but the actor has signed sworn testimony stating that that’s not the case, and that he was not in the apartment at the time of the blaze.

Ashley has yet to speak publicly about the new lawsuit or the crack pipe allegations, but a source has spoken to several tabloids on her behalf:

“There was no crack pipe found in Ashley’s apartment,” says the insider. “It’s all hearsay from unnamed sources – Mayorga’s claiming he heard from the friend of an unidentified worker who may have entered the apartment,”

Sounds pretty sketchy. Hopefully, Ashley can clear this up so that she can finally put the whole ugly incident behind her.
