The episode was filmed over six months ago, but the Giudices have yet to face the music, as their lawyers have now successfully petitioned the court to delay their sentencing hearing for a second time.

Teresa and Joe’s sentencing was pushed back to September 23 following the death of Joe Giudice’s father.

Now, lawyers for the couple have requested that the hearing be delayed again – this time until October 2 – as they’re still in the process of gathering information for the judge.

“The lawyers are in the final stages of preparing their sentencing brief, and just needed some additional time to gather more facts," says a source close to the case. "It’s about giving Joe and Teresa the chance of getting no jail time, and probation in the case.”

Teresa initially seemed confident that she wouldn’t face any prison time, but sources say she’s become deeply worried in recent weeks.

Earlier today, Teresa and Joe put their mansion up for sale, possibly in a last minute bid to raise money for their four children in the event that both parents get locked up.
