When McKayla Maroney first addressed the nude photo scandal, she claimed that the images that the images that were reportedly of her were actually Photoshopped fakes.
Now McKayla is seemingly admitting that the pics are - in fact - authentic, adding that she was under 18 at the time that they were taken.
TMZ reports that Maroney is threatening legal action against sites that posted her photos, and her lawyers have demanded that the pics be taken down immediately.
McKayla has not expressly indicated that the photos are hers, but it seems implied by her legal complaint.
It remains possible that only portions of the photos are actually McKayla.
One site that was contacted - the imaginatively titled Porn.com - has issued a statement saying that they removed the images of Maroney immediately upon receiving a letter from her lawyers.
Maroney, of course, was part of the US women's gymnastics team that won gold at 2012 London Olympics.
