Former Big Brother co-stars and longtime partners Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd are engaged after he popped the question … on the CBS reality show!
The series’ motto is “expect the unexpected,” and the proposal from Jeff to Jordan on the current season of the summer hit certainly lives up to the tagline.
“Why are the live feeds off… Maybe cause of this… SHE SAID YES!” Schroeder posted via Twitter. “Thank you sooo much @CBSBigBrother @CBSi #bb16.”
Surrounded by the Season 16 cast and their family and friends, the reality star got down on one knee and held Lloyd’s hand in the house’s famed “back yard.”
“I’m engaged!!!!!” Jordan Lloyd tweeted at the time.
“Celebrating our engagement,” she added, alongside a picture of the couple out to dinner … little did we know Friday just how the proposal went down.
Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd met and fell in love on Big Brother 11 in 2009, but it wasn’t just a strategic showmance. They’ve been together ever since!
They both competed again in Season 13 as part of a duos twist that brought them back to the house, but they were unable to walk away with the prize.
Just each other. Season 12 stars Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas also met on the show and got married – and Rachel with the $500,000 payout.
Congrats to Jeff and Jordan on the big news!
