The original Teen Mom is coming back! Well, three-quarters of it, anyway.
Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood are officially returning for Season 5 of the MTV reality show in 2015, according to Us Weekly.
Not coming back with them, despite ending her feud with Catelynn last week? The infamous Backdoor Teen Mom star and restaurateur Farrah Abraham.
The trio reportedly refused to film again if their infamous fourth cast member was included, and MTV fired Farrah Abraham from Teen Mom as a result.
Abraham will tell you she wanted to part ways with the show anyway, but she'll spin any story any way she wants depending on which way the wind blows.
She's also very possibly an actual escort in her spare time.
Not a lot of credibility to what she says in other words, but that's neither here nor there. As for Maci, Catelynn, and Amber, a lot has changed for all three since 2012.
Teen Mom Season 4 came to a close then, and the trio has been largely away from the limelight since. Or in Amber's case, away from the light of day.
She did TIME, after all, after multiple run-ins with the law.
Since her release from prison November, she has moved into a new house and written a book called Never Too Late, which comes out later this month.
Portwood is really trying to turn her life around, while Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are expecting their second child after giving up their first for adoption.
They've probably been the most stable stars of the entire franchise through the years, with Bookout a close second, living largely under the radar.
She's excited to introduce viewers to her boyfriend of two years, Taylor McKinney, while all three returning stars are in school at least part time.
Say what you will about Farrah, Jenelle Evans and Co., but studies show the U.S. teen birth rate has fallen more than 20 percent since Teen Mom debuted.
Is there a direct correlation? Hard to say, but there's little doubt that seeing their stories play out on TV does not paint the rosiest picture of young parenthood.
VOTE: Did Farrah deserve to get fired by MTV?
