Taylor Swift is headed to NBC.

The artist, whose latest single has hit number-one, will act as an advisor on the upcoming season of The Voice.

This is the same capacity in which Coldplay singer Chris Martin served on Season 6, as he took contestants across all four teams under his talented wing and offered them advice.

Swift will be working with panelists Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, as well as new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams this fall.

There's one perk of being a freelance writer: working from home in the comfort of my yoga pants while listening to Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" on repeat.

All with nary a concern that I might offend the entire office simply by using the microwave. Imagine the people that have to go to the office and deal with ... PEOPLE.

That's when the passive-aggressive behavior kicks in, and kicks in hard. But it also results in some hilarity, such as these classic responses to others' notes:

Then there's apartment life, where the fight for parking, the neighbors having loud sex, and community trash collection cause people the same sort of rage.

So what do people do when they experience this sort of anger, frustration and stress? Why they confront the offenders, of course! No. No they do not do that.

They send passive aggressive notes and become MY PEOPLE. Then people respond to those notes in similar fashion and also become my people.

Even though I don't actually want to work around people. Shrug.

Michael Sam made history as the first openly gay player to be drafted by NFL team, but he won't make history as the first to take the field in the pros just yet.

The St. Louis Rams cut Sam on Saturday, as the former college all-pro was among final four players released before the team finalized its 53-man roster.

So what's next for Michael Sam? He is now on waivers and could be claimed by another team, meaning he would automatically make that club's roster.

If he is unclaimed, Sam may still wind up on the Rams' 10-man practice squad, with an opportunity to make the team that drafted him down the line.

The 24-year-old said via his Twitter account Saturday afternoon:

"I want to thank the Rams organization and the city of St. Louis for giving me this tremendous opportunity and allowing me to show I can play at this level."

"I look forward to continuing to build on the progress I made here toward a long and successful career. The most worthwhile things in life rarely come easy."

"This is a lesson I've always known. The journey continues."

Joan Rivers is on life support and may be on the verge of death.

The comedian, who was hospitalized on Thursday after she stopped breathing during throat surgery, is reliant on machines at the moment to stay alive.

According to TMZ insiders, the celebrity's family (which includes daughter Melissa, of course) will be forced to decide how it wishes to proceed over the next few days.

Will Gibbs and Tony return from Russia alive?

That's the main question that will be asked on the NCIS Season 12 premiere, which will be titled "20 Clicks" and which will take these two heroes all the way overseas.

For what purpose?

Let's face it. Some people just shouldn't use the Internet.

This list includes embarrassing parents, celebrities without PR agents to stop them from saying stupid things on Twitter, and anyone who thinks Justin Bieber's music is actually good.

And then there are the people who haven't quite figured out just how obnoxious they are when sharing on social media. People like this ...

The Does It All Mom
You know the type. She's waxing the car, shaving her legs, making organic, free range, Bento box lunches for five children, WHILE chairing the PTA ALL AT ONCE. And never chipping a nail.

"Just had a great workout! Now I'm going to juice a carrot! If you don't juice your carrots you'll die!"

"It's Obama's fault the Steelers lost! THANKS, OBAMA!"

"My sweet little snookums dollbaby angel face just bought me lingerie and we're gonna get frisky later!"

Uhhhh....

If you're one of those people, well, don't be one of those people.

And if you KNOW one of those people, we feel sorry for you.

Note to Kate Upton:

Why can't you be more like Kathy Griffin?!?

The comedian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week and showed a video of herself accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge... while wearing nothing but her birthday suit.

Griffin was joined for Challenge by Aubrey Plaza and A.J. McLean and, no offense to the sight of Kathy Griffin naked, but the best part was Plaza's line to conclude the footage.

TV Guide has published its annual list television's highest-paid actors, and there are some serious shake-ups in the 2014 pecking order.

For one thing, the number 1,2, and 3 spots all belong to Big Bang Theory cast mates.

Tim Allen
The former Tool Man's return to television has netted him some big bucks. Allen receives an estimated $250,000 an episode for Last Man Standing.

Yes, as you may have heard, Kaley Cuoco and her co-stars signed $90 million contracts after protracted negotiations, making them the most well-compensated cast on the small screen by a fairly wide margin.

Kaley and the Geek Squad (as Charlie Sheen dubbed them when he was the brightest star in the CBS galaxy) will pull an estimated $1 million an episode for the next three years, and will also enjoy an undisclosed portion of the show's profits.

Industry insiders say the TBBT actors may be the last stars to receive such astonishing paydays due to audience fragmentation brought about by cable and streaming services, as well as "cast churning" (the practice of frequently dispatching series regulars, say with a Valyrian steel blade).
