Last night on VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 Episode 16, Mimi finally came clean about her sexy lies, while Stevie J always keeps things interesting.
Yeah, about that whole Mimi Faust sex tape ... she admits to Ariane and Erica that she lied, though she still insists Nikko Smith merely “lost” the X-rated romp.
She is either not a good liar or really not smart. Perhaps a rare and potent combination of the two. In any case, boy can she spin this whole charade.
According to Mimi, once porn distributor Vivid got its hands on the tape, Nikko convinced her to add more scenes to really make the thing pop (so to speak).
Hence why it looks so produced! Because it is! They just added more scenes after the fact, since he'd already lost it anyway! Makes total sense!
All is not well, though. You can tell that she is trying to convince herself that it is, but Mimi is not loving the fact that, you now, Nikko Smith is married.
One can her understand feeling betrayed by this omission, even if one can't grasp how she would possibly believe the "leaked" sex tape shenanigans.
A friend then tells her that Nikko “set her up” and is just using her shower rod antics. Mimi is aghast. She vows to find out what is going on with Smith.
Speaking of people who are hard to figure out, Joseline and Stevie J take that to a new level every episode it seems. Fortunately, there is Snoop Dogg.
Oh yes. Stevie produces a song with the rap legend, which helps Josie get over her latest batch of issues with her non-husband. Whatever works, right?
Hilariously, Stevie J admits to Snoop Dogg that he did in fact give it to Benzino‘s fiance Althea. So he denies it 100 times to her, then opens up to Snoop on video.
“I have to come clean with myself,” he said, not grasping the ridiculous irony of any of this. “I hurt Joseline so much. I don’t want to hurt her anymore.”
He promises to Snoop he’ll finally tell Joseline the truth, but darned if she doesn't look so good right now. He'll tap that a$$ and maybe tell her tomorrow.
Elsewhere in scripted, forced shorelines:
- Karlie Redd gets revenge on Yung Joc for cheating by buying out a song they recorded together from the producer and taking his credit off of it. OOOOH.
- Tammy Rivera wants to make sure her fertility with husband Waka Flocka Flame is A-O-K. She insists he get his sperm checked. He is hesitant.
- Benzino and Althea are still on course to get married, and still at odds over whether they require a prenuptial agreement. We would lean towards yes.
