Lizzie Rovsek and Vicki Gunvalson are willing to move past their issues with Tamra Barney, but that doesn't mean they foresee a friendship with their co-star.
Although she brought so much drama to The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9 - drama that may get Tamra Barney fired - it's in the past.
Mostly. Rovsek strikes a measured, sympathetic note in her latest blog post, writing:
“I am so sorry for what Tamra is going through in her life; I just don’t think it’s a good excuse to hurt other people ... we all go through hard times.”
“However there comes a time when you damage a relationship beyond repair and some of the things that have happened in the past few weeks are reprehensible."
“Will I forgive Tamra? Yes and I have. However, I don’t foresee a friendship with her.”
That's probably as good as Barney can hope for after this summer, which if you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you know was epic.
She left no shortage of frenemies in her wake, and not just because of the infamous marry, shag, kill game that led to a major beef with Rovsek.
Even longtime ally Vicki Gunvalson came out of this season feeling spurned.
Tamra has disapproved of Gunvalson’s boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, and never tried to hide that, but recent talk behind Vicki's back rubbed her the wrong way.
“As I said ... I don’t really care if Tamra likes Brooks or supports our relationship ... but I do ask that she keep the bad mouthing to herself,” Gunvalson writes.
“I personally think Tamra steps way too much into people’s business. You can’t go around talking crap on people and expect them not to compare notes.”
Vicki says she hopes Tamra "has learned a lesson." We wouldn't bet on it.
Barney’s presence next season is still up in the air. Same for Lizzie Rovsek, who is also rumored to be on her way out (Bravo has not commented on this).
A lot more will be known - or at least we'll have more drama to discuss - when the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion airs in the coming weeks.
