After Kate Upton changed teams, so to speak, she's officially been barred from wearing gear supporting Justin Verlander's Tigers at New York's Yankee Stadium.
Appearing on Live! With Kelly and Michael recently, the 22-year-old supermodel admitted she's having a hard time breaking up with her former squad.
"I'm sleeping with the enemy," she told host Michael Strahan of why she changed allegiances. "My boyfriend plays for the Tigers. I had to pick a side!"
MLB allegiances aside, television audiences who saw Justin Verlander toss Kate Upton a ball at the Tigers-Yankees game last week were awwwed.
Or disappointed, because there's no longer any doubt Upton and Verlander are an item. But for the most part, there was no denying the cuteness.
The Bronx Bombers, however, aren't too happy about one of their high-profile cheerleaders all of a sudden throwing her support behind a rival team.
"I felt it, too, when I walked in [to Yankee Stadium]," Upton said. "They specifically said, the Yankees told me, 'You're not allowed to wear a Tigers hat!'"
"'You're not allowed to wear any Tigers gear.' It's like a bad breakup."
Upton obliged, though. Sitting behind Detroit's dugout and stealing glances at her man, she was dressed in white, head to toe, with no logos in sight.
For some glances at the beauty wearing not a whole lot from head to toe, scroll through the gallery below and forget about how terrible that segue was.
The Kate Upton photos will make up for it and then some. Trust us.
