Vogue magazine has unveiled the cover for its annual Fall Fashion bible, the iconic September Issue, with a trio of gorgeous models gracing the edition.
In prior years, the issue has featured celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence (2013), Lady Gaga (2012), Halle Berry (2010), and Charlize Theron (2009).
This year it's runway divas Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne, and Karlie Kloss. An accompanying headline dubs them the "Instagirls." Check out the photo!
Vogue teases more than 800 "Pages of Spectacular Fall Fashion," with the "Models of the Moment in the Clothes of the Season" as their canvas.
A pullout version of the cover, shot by the famed photographer Mario Testino, unfolds to show six other Vogue "Instagirls" along with the big three.
Arizona Muse, Edie Campbell, Imaan Hammam, Fei Fei Sun, Vanessa Axente, and Andreea Diaconu, like Karlie, Cara and Joan, are also "savvy on social media."
Together, this stunning set is "building their own brands and single-handedly catapulting themselves to this generation's version of supermodel status."
Just the same, many of the Instagirls cite Christy Turlington as the ultimate supermodel, explaining that the models today are "just models," sans the "super."
As for the label "Instagirls"? "I like it," Taylor Swift's best friend Karlie Kloss, 22, proclaims in the magazine. "It's the new generation of kids, of us."
