Jimmy Fallon made us laugh on The Tonight Show yesterday when he parodied House of Cards.

But he also made us cry.

The comedian got choked up when discussing the death of Robin Williams, praising the actor as a once-in-a-lifetime talent and telling viewers to find clips of his stand-up routines.

He then gave us a look at Williams' first appearance with Johnny Carson before concluding the segment with a nod to Dead Poets Society.

"Oh captain, my captain, you will be missed," Fallon said while standing on his desk.

Last night, meanwhile, all three of Williams' kids released statement in memory and in mourning of their father, as the entertainment world continues to grapple with this shocking death.
