It’s Men Tell All week on The Bachelorette and Andi Dorfman is ready to face the music in front of some of the guys who did not make it to the final two.
If you’re looking for real scoop, this episode was likely disappointing.
In fact, if you want The Bachelorette spoilers or hints on how the finale plays out, some recent videos we’ve posted are likely much more noteworthy.
You don’t have to believe us or shady Internet sources; Nick Viall talking about the finale in his own words on the plane ride home has done the job for us.
As far as the Men Tell All special is concerned, it featured nothing even close to that good, but there were some water cooler moments amidst the filler.
As always, you can watch The Bachelorette online at TV Fanatic to see it in full.
Now, without further ado, on to THG’s The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All recap!
This season, in addition to re-watching and re-hashing footage of Chris Soules, Marquel Martin and Marcus Grodd being dumped, MTA had some wrinkles.
Like, oh, a live ultrasound finding out the sex of Ashley Hebert’s unborn child. Because obviously that was a thing that happened Monday night.
Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum of The Bachelorette fame certainly seemed happy and adorable as they talked about moving to Miami with their first child.
After Greg the Ultrasound Technician put the gel on and everything, the audience waited with breathless anticipation as we learned … it’s a boy!
That was cute watching J.P. tear up at the idea, even if we can’t help but feel like we violated Ashley by being present for this (dress) uplifting moment.
The awkwardness was nearly matched, albeit on a more relevant topic, during a rehashing of the big racism scandal from earlier this season.
Marquel Martin said he was caught off guard when J.J. told him what Andrew said, and it has yet to be resolved, so we basically went over it again.
Andrew started trying to defend himself, but in doing so, called Marquel Ron, the name of the other African-American cast member this season.
Not a way to get the explanation off to a good start, saying J.J. had an “agenda" and had no credibility. ABC’s archive footage proven inconclusive.
“I believe I said something to the effect of, ‘It’s been a long night,’ and ‘When is this going to be over with?’” Andrew recalled, which J.J. refuted.
Marquel, class act that he is, handled the whole thing gracefully, even when put on the hot seat in a situation that was uncomfortable at best.
Later, a random audience member made things awkward as she crashed Chris Soules’ big interview and awkwardly confessed she had a crush on him.
This would’ve been cooler had she not looked as though she was winging it – most sheepish stage crashing ever – but kudos to Ketra … Petra, whatever.
With Andi Dorfman under the bright lights, Chris Harrison read some scandalous results of lie detector tests from earlier in the season, except Josh’s.
True to form, and to the disappointment of everyone at home, Andi declined to learn what two lies her hunky finalist Josh told during that charade.
What do you think they were? And who do you think wrote the note handed by Chris to Andi from one of the final two, as shown at the end during the credits.
There are rumors going around that the runner-up still wants Andi and is trying to get her to change her mind. This would corroborate that theory.
We’ll all find out next week on the season finale. For now, let’s take a look back at some of the couples from the show and who lasted and who didn’t …
