Are you ready for Rosie O’Donnell 2.0, fans of The View?
With Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd having been given the boot from the ABC gabfest, sources tell TMZ that O’Donnell may actually come back for a second stint as co-host this fall.
The actress/comedian is already in “active negotiations” with producers, the insider alleges, discussing salary and other terms in anticipation of her unexpected return.
O’Donnell only lasted for one season in first go-around on The View, but she returned as a guest February and also joined the slew of former hosts to salute Barbara Walters when the journalist retired in May.
Along with O’Donnell, other big names who have shown interest in anchoring The View include Andi Dorfman and… Sarah Palin?!?
