On Love & Hip Hop Atlanta Season 3 Episode 13, Mimi Faust decided it was time to stop whining about her sex tape's origins and just cash in on the thing.
She does not quite understand the concept of journalism, however.
The issue arose when Benzino wanted to get her on the cover of Hip Hop Weekly without paying her for the honor, despite her demands for $10,000.
He says he is under no obligation to pay jack, and he's right.
The Mimi Faust sex tape star didn't have to appear on the cover and they don't have to pay her to. If she refuses because of money, good for her.
Threatening to get her lawyers to come after Benzino and storming out, though? That's just hilarious, as she legally has no shower rod to stand on.
That wasn't even the half of it with this cover, though, as Joseline Hernandez loses her mind over the fact that her photo spread is now an afterthought.
It's all Mimi's fault, and she'd better watch out at the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta reunion. Just a hunch there. We predict tensions will be at an all-time high.
For his part, Stevie J never signed off on what Benzino did, but Stevie's credibility with Joseline is so shot at this point, he can't even get this across.
She literally rips up the magazine in a dramatic tirade. Great.
The upshot for Mimi Faust, though, is that she's apparently moved on from complaining about the sudden infamy the sex tape has thrust upon her.
It's time to take advantage and f--king cash in on this b-tch.
But before Mimi leaves town to go deal with her ailing father, she and Erica have a tense talk about the tape, with the latter expressing disappointment.
She says she is “hurt, disgusted" and more, but Mimi doesn’t care what Erica thinks (if you watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta online, you should know this).
"The only thing I can do is move the f--k forward,” Faust says.
After she gets back to Atlanta, Ariane also calls Mimi out on the tape and how it does not look like a leaked video, but a professional porno.
Mimi says Vivid just makes it look like a movie due to editing.
“They cut it and slowed it down and added music to make it look fancy,” she explains, with real conviction, as if anyone is buying what she's selling.
Mmm hmm. That's her story and she's sticking to it, even though it's been established that this is patently false and blasted on gossip sites everywhere.
You almost have to give her credit for lying so consistently.
