Fox's suspenseful hit drama 24 made a much-anticipated return to television recently, but despite solid ratings and reviews, we know of one star who most definitely did not tune in.
Actor Freddie Prinze, Jr. appeared on the series during its original run and recently described it as the worst experience of his professional life:
"I did 24, it was terrible," Prinze told ABC News at Comic Con over the weekend. "I hated every moment of it. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So I just sort of stopped."
So what made the experience so miserable? None other than Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland.
"Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash. I'd say it to his face. I think everyone who's worked with him has said that."
Ouch. Sadly, Prinze didn't go into specifics about Kiefer's "unprofessional" behavior (This would've been around the Sutherland head butted a fashion designer, so Prinze probably has some good stories.), but he did rag on the actor for...his height?
Prinze claims Sutherland is so short that appearing with him on camera required him to take off his shoes:
"Just put the guy on an apple box or don't hire next time," says Prinze. "You know I'm six feet, he's 5'4."
For the record, Sutherland's Wikipedia page says he;s 5'9," but Prinze could be logging in to correct that as we speak.
