World Cup Fans Go Bonkers Over U.S. Goal: Watch, Cheer Now!

Turns out, this soccer-loving dog isn't the only World Cup fan around.

Thousands of fans gathered in Kansas City yesterday to watch the United States take on Ghana in first round action, having barely settled in for the game when Clint Dempsey put America on the board with a goal 34 seconds into the match.

Let's take a look at how the group reacted when Dempsey's left-footed strike found the back of the net, shall we?

USA! USA! USA!

The Americans would go on to win 2-1 on a header off a corner kick in the closing seconds, making millions of U.S citizens huge soccer fans for however long it took them to type on Twitter.

How far will the U.S advance in the World Cup? It's hard to say.
