Robert Downey, Jr.'s son Indio was arrested for cocaine possession in West Hollywood on Sunday afternoon.
TMZ reports that Indio was released from jail late last night after posting $10,000 bail. He was reportedly riding in a car in a car that was pulled over after police noticed one of the passengers smoking something out of a pipe.
Indio's father, Robert Downey, Jr., suffered through a highly-publicized struggle with addiction that resulted in his imprisonment in 1999 and very nearly cost the actor his career.
Indio was rumored to have been involved with drugs in the past. The 20-year-old allegedly entered rehab after becoming addicted to prescription pills last year.
The police report indicates that the cocaine found in the car was in Indio's possession, but it is not known at this time what sort of charged Downey will face.
Robert, who is perhaps best known for his role as Iron Man, has not yet spoken publicly about the arrest.
(UPDATE: He has now!)
After two drug arrests in 200 and 2001, Robert has been clean since 2003 and has since become an advocate for drug treatment programs.
The actor played little part in Indio's early life, but has become close with his son since sobering up.
