Hey, YOLO, right?
Earlier this month, at the Jack Britt High School graduation ceremony in North Carolina, senior Quintin Murphy clearly wasn't satisfied with the notion of tossing his cap in the air.
The student had to toss nearly all of his clothes in the air, stripping down to his underwear immediately upon receiving his diploma.
As you can see, the crowd found this gesture hilarious… but administrators less so. They took away Murphy’s diploma and banned him from both school property and all school-related activities.
The ceremony continued as planned after Murphy’s act, though the senior was escorted by police away from the rest of the students after the stunt.
"We’ve worked hard to get the audiences to respect our students,” Superintendent Frank Till Jr. told the Faye Observer. "This young man chose not to show respect for his colleagues."
Murphy is still an actual graduate, of course. He just won't have a physical diploma to prove it.
