Amy Adams is a multiple-time Academy Award nominee.
But she may be an even better person than she is an actress.
The surprisingly good singer gave up her first class seat on board a flight from Detroit to Los Angeles today, happily handing it over to a soldier she had never even met.
The very kind deed was witnessed by ESPN reporter Jemele Hill.
"Just saw actress Amy Adams do something incredibly classy," Hill Tweeted. "She gave her 1st class seat to an American soldier. I’m an even bigger fan now."
In an email to the “Today Show” from the flight, Hill expounded:
"When we were waiting to board, I saw her glance the soldier’s way and then she said something to the person she was traveling with. Once we boarded, I saw she was in first class.
"Before we took off she had vacated her seat and the flight attendant brought the soldier to her seat. Ms. Adams did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character.
"And somebody in coach just got a helluva seatmate!"
How very true.
One of the 15 Hottest Celebrity Redheads out there and a good samaritan, Adams also posed for the above selfie with another passenger.
Tweeted that fortunate young man upon posing with the star:
"Told @InsideEdition why Amy Adams was classy for giving up her 1st class seat to the soldier sitting next to me! :)"
