The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9 Episode 5 Recap: Lizzie Rovsek is the ENEMY

On Monday's The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9 Episode 5, Lizzie Rovsek took over and gave Vicki Gunvalson a run for her show-running money.

You can watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online to see it for yourself, but when Vicki came face to face with the new girl, it did not go smoothly.

One got the impression knowing Vicki that she would not like Lizzie Rovsek from the start, but this was tense and awkward even by RHOC standards.

With the ladies getting together for what was supposed to be a fun holiday dinner, Vicki and Lizzie went at it in the limo for reasons more or less unknown.

It was as if Vicki saw Lizzie and her giant boobs and hair and decided this was an enemy she had to take down on the spot, and by any means necessary.

Seriously, we've seen police suspects treated more respectfully.

Her classic disrespectful schtick on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9 Episode 5 didn't go over well, and Lizzie let her know about it.

"What's your name? Lizzie? Izzy?" Vicki asked, as if she didn't know. "You can just call me Elizabeth," she said, not impressed in the least. And so it went.

Vicki then proceeded to bombard Lizzie with questions, as if this were some terrible interview or better yet an interrogation, in front of the whole group.

Then she "accidentally" forgot to order Lizzie a shot. The horror.

Strangely, Vicki has seemed somewhat relaxed this season before laying into Rovsek like this. Is she out of her mind or is Lizzie really that terrible?

Next week, it looks as if Lizzie rips Tamra Barney as "the most insecure person she's ever met in her life," so perhaps she's not totally innocent herself.

Speaking of old-versus-new cast rivalries, Heather Dubrow and Shannon Beador got into a hilarious fight over who was sitting where at the table.

If they weren't totally overshadowed by Vicki going Guantanamo on Lizzie, this asinine, elementary school argument would have stood out even more.

But they look good, at least. Like they always have ...
