Rumors about Star Wars: Episode VII will likely continue to circulate up until the film's December 2015 release date.
But while the cast of Episode VII has been announced, little else has been officially confirmed, leaving fans to scour the Internet for hints of what the movie might have in store.
Well, if you're one of those fans, prepare yourself for what may be the closest thing you'll see to actual Episode VII footage between now and when the first trailers are released:
If you've been keeping up with the Star Wars rumor mill, you know Daisy Ridley was probably cast as Han Solo and Princess Leia's daughter in Episode VII. (We knew for certain she'll appear in the film, but her role has yet to be verified.)
The video above is supposedly footage of Ridley receiving some serious lightsaber training on set.
Could it be staged BS? Of course! But with more than 18 months to go until Episode VII's release date we'll take whatever sketchy information we can get.
Let's run down what else we think we know, thus far:
- The full title might be Star Wars Episode VII: The Ancient Fear
- The film might star Zac Efron and Lupita Nyong'o
- For the next year and a half, fans might continue to obsess over every tidbit of information that could offer a clue about the film's plot.
Actually, we know that last one for sure.
