As promoted today by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet on Good Morning America, ABC is footing the bill (typically $35) for all marriage licenses and wedding ceremonies that take place inside this building on Monday.
They are doing so in promotion of the Modern Family Season 5 finale, which focuses on their characters of Cam and Mitch finally getting tying the knot after years of dating and raising a daughter.
"It's a rare opportunity as actors... to finally get a gig like that that is really, truly – and not to put too much importance on it – but owning it a little bit, having social impact, cultural impact," Stonestreet said. "We hear that from kids, we hear that from parents, so we know it's real. It's an honor."
Watch Cam and Mitch exchange vows during Modern Family's final two episodes of the season, the first of which airs Wednesday (9/8c) on ABC.
NOTE: And you can always watch Modern Family online via TV Fanatic to catch up on the Emmy-winning sitcom.
